Yup! That one is so great! Not as much as Evermore, but it's a completely different style and I love it. I hope he does both of those!

If you liked his Sinatra style, you will love Jonathan's cover of Fly Me To The Moon. His Panic at the Disco covers are High Hopes, I write Sins not Tragedies and Emperors New Clothes. For another Disney cover Let It Go from Frozen is a must watch 😂 I would also love to see you react to his version of Diggy Diggy Hole 😂

"Theatre kid" Jon and 2 of his passions here - pizza and jazz!! 🤣 Don't think he has had much, if any, theatre or vocal training - never heard him talk about it if he has. Ha!! He has to add in a bit of grit and growl in nearly all of his videos - not quite every one though. He can very Sinatra type smooth when he chooses - he has even done a cover of "Fly Me To The Moon". DJ, a lot of his earlier stuff is less rock/metal. His voice is very versatile.

It's called glissando, when you basically slide through many notes up (or down) to the correct one.

The musical term for what he did on the final guest is called a glissando, more commonly known as a musical slide.

Oooo!! Another reaction to a very young Jon. Look forward to watching this! Definitely a different side of him. His voice was very good back then but it has matured and developed so much since. Hope you do his version of "Evermore" from the same film at some point - that one gives my goosebumps goosebumps!!

Love the song and the reaction. If you haven't heard, Jonathan and Thomas Sanders are featured on Caleb Hyles' new cover of "Jolene," which is on Caleb's channel. It's so good.

Jon seems able to turn his voice to all musical genres. Hearing him sing country style with Caleb on both this and "Country Roads" was a treat I never knew I wanted or needed!! They both sound so darn good!

Ahh, if you're going back through Jonathan's repertoire, do Evermore!! Do it!! Or Mine, Mine, Mine from Pocahontas!! Its completely unedited audio and super far back 😂 And I have heard him discuss training in a casual context but I don't know to what professional extent he's pursued it? He /has/ done Panic At the Disco, but not sure if he's done Death of a Bachelor specifically. Would have to go back to look. I know he's done Emperor's New Clothes

"Thirded" 😆 for "Evermore"!! I've heard him mention training but, as you said, just a casual reference. I'm not sure that he had much from the way he's spoken about it. I do seem to recall him talking somewhere about being in a choir while at school but being discouraged because his voice dropped to bass - the choir leader basically telling him to forget being any kind of singer because of his bass voice? I think he might have been talking with another bass singer - maybe Bobby Bass? - and they were saying how choir leaders etc concentrate on the higher ranges and don't really both with the lower ones. Really can't remember now.
