It takes humility to acknowledge that those 40-50 dudes that were running with you were “yes men” and didn’t really care about you but just wanted to get paid & seen with you. This man killed his ego and took a step back. Not very many dudes could do that in his situation. Major respect.

Shit he got a good 5 years still if he can get back on the scene. Seems like he being black balled now tho. He had a drake feature and from the sounds of the interview he shitted on Drake so he might be done in the A list circuits. But he can still salvage something if he can get a good feature from an A list artist. But he still got songs people will go see him perform. Probably won't reach the heights he did before but who knows. This interview sounds like one of them where are they now joints.

$1400 jeans are for people worth $50 million+ and even then you can’t be on some MC Hammer like Posse either. Just like $1500 iPhones, 90% of us in America really can’t afford them, just bc they let you leave the store/dealership with the item doesn’t mean you can truly “afford” it.

I'm a financial advisor: he does what most Americans do, just with a LOT more commas. When you're making 3M+ a year, buying some of that doesn't seem crazy. I see average Joe's making $40,000 buying $60,000 trucks. Glad he has the perspective to look back and learn.

Damn he’s got respect admitting this and realizing he had to change. But I never understood why or how people are so bad with money. “What you would do I’d you made 100k or more in a day.” Personally I thought about this when I was like 12 bc I saw adults being stupid, the kids around me being stupid, and I didn’t get it. I’d invest in a few things, make some consistent cash even if it’s not a lot, and I’d put atleast 10-20k into a savings and the rest for a down payment on a house or buy a car. Everything else will work itself out.
@whatthehellizgoingon
@whatthehellizgoingon Жыл бұрын
it sounds like you had a stable home to save up and start your life. so keep that in mind when you ignorantly say stuff like “idk how ppl are so stupid with money” most broke people when they get a little money blow through it for obvious reason… because they never had anything. contrary to little johnny who had everything and never wanted or needed for anything. of course you can tell them to go without and stack up, you just can’t tell that to someone who never had anything.

@@whatthehellizgoingon what? Girl you assume I had a stable life but I didn’t. I grew up in a ghetto neighborhood almost broke with my parents struggling and bad credit. I learned this information on my own. Don’t jump to conclusions about someone bc you’re offended. I was the one WITH NOTHING. I made it to the house in a suburbs on my own. I worked and worked and got it before I was 25.

His lifestyle was wild & he had no knowledge of financial literacy. Atleast he learned from it. This go around Fetty definitely will be alot better seeing how he realize all the mistakes he was making & didn’t make any excuses. I never was rich but I kinda had the same problem the first time I got successful. These days ima minimalist & save 50% of every check I touch. You live & you learn.

Love fetty as an artist he’s incredibly talented but im willing to bet he never saw 22 million in the bank at once. I’m sure he made a ton of money, more than anyone has ever seen in their life 10x over but the dudes entire net worth probably isn’t even 22 million let alone have 22 million liquid cash in the bank… not a chance. He had a few big hits but was not a superstar.

@@moneycomesfirst8681 exactly. I think people see someone who’s successful and has the flashy chains and cars but they fail to realize a lot of these people are worth a handful of millions of course, yet they’re living essentially like a billionaire. That cash flow can’t keep up with the fast lifestyle no matter how much he was earning at his peak. Scott Storch said it perfectly. It was something along the lines of “I was trying live a billionaire’s lifestyle as a millionaire… that’s dangerous stuff”

I know he may have felt guilty if he only purchased himself the expensive clothes but at the end of the day he's the main attraction. It's really only vital for him to have the expensive clothing because his image & performance is what's earning the money. The others in group should have just been thankful to be in the circle & should have figured out their own way to purchase thousand dollar jeans.

That sounds ideal, until one or two or a few plots to take you for what you have, BECAUSE you don’t feed them the same way you feed yourself. Some are only loyal, as long as you’re giving to them, and unfortunately you may never know that, UNTIL you don’t look out for the, anymore
