Wow! Nice! I just picked up some CDJ 3000s. I have a MBP running 5.8.6 and I was surprised this, Link Export, works perfect with the 3000s no need to install anything. I'm still waiting on my 900 NXS2 mixer, can't wait to have that for waveform preview. THANKS!

Pro DJ Link is a killer feature! I use it for summer outdoor gigs when I need a lot of music, but I want to hide my laptop from direct sunlight. I can set the laptop up under the table with a fan on it and still browse all my music through the interface in the CDJs. I can keep the party going through the midday sun without the laptop glitching out on me.

Is it possible to connect 900 nexus and djm 750 to the rekordbox through the usb midi cables? Really stuck here figuring it out since I don’t really face any problem with 750 mk2

I'm kinda stunned by the lack of awareness of this feature with so many DJs and KZfaqrs. If i'm buying a CDJ Setup, i'm buying it for the standalone capabilities. And if i want to take those to the next level, without having to use a USB thumb drive with limited space, i would want to use Pro DJ Link. In HID mode, if Rekordbox or your computer breaks, everything breaks. You're just using the CDJs as controllers and Rekordbox is doing all audio processing. Good tutorial, i couldn't find any other tutorial that goes this in depth into this topic.

Instead of plugging the 4th Ethernet cable can’t I just plug in my usb cable to the mixer with another DJ in HID mode to make cross overs in Serato easier?

you explained it very well deep brother, i just bought a switch and few cables to connected cdj 2000 nxs .. it well connected the way you explained but how it will work if anyone is performing as vdj. cz it works only on browse mode and while moving to performance mode it as to disconnect link.. is there any way that we can even vdj while connected through link !

I've used this link feature in xdj-rx2 by plugging my USB (MIDI) CABLE directly to my mac with no subscription plans, So what's my Question is... It is possible to do the same in DJM900,900NXS,900NXS2? while the CDJs2000NX/NX2 Linked with LAN cable to a DJ Mixer (example)DJM900nx/nx2.., Just by connecting my USB Cable to the Mixer without using the network switch..

Hi Sir, Just had one question if I use pro link to connect cdj 2000 nexus mixer who have 3 hot cues will I be able to manually use other hot keys from laptop like i have assigned shortcuts on keyboard. And also is there any midi controller just for hot cues like novation dicer. Thanks for this wonderful video🤗

Pro DJ Link me to have always used with Rekordbox since day 1 of purchase...!!!! 5 port hub to my Pioneer's x 2, plus spare Internet connections if needed.... !!!! INTERFACE II for my Technics 1210's.. (y) Win Win :)

What is the difference between HID mode and Pro Dj link in usage or the screen on the cdjs... Also can you do this with Rekordbox 6 . Kindly guide if we go to play at a gig where someone is already playing with his laptop and you want to use his laptop with your pendrive how to go about that in rekordbox Or you go with your laptop and another dj is playing with his on Pro Dj link already how to have a smooth switch

No bro. I don't think so. It's a PioneerDJ developed program for PioneerDJ equipment and Rekordbox. And they have not added support for 3rd party software. Im now gonna go and see if there is a way to get this work. Il update if I get a solution.

Hi. I checked on the DDJ 400. Yes all effects are synchronised to bpm if you select auto mode. You can also change the BPM manually if required for effects. Open the filters tab and you will see an option to choose between auto and BPM Make sure you choose auto.

Well. There's no specific brand that I recommend. But I've seen that the generic ones work very well and have a very less fail rate.
