Taking a look at Cyxtera Data Centre in Winnersh - Reading. Staff try to grab the camera and security have a massive meltdown over the drone.

There is no irony. It's their property. They can do what they want on their own property (within reason). And, they can restrict what others do on their property (within reason). That's like saying the employees can walk around the building so why are they restricting him from walking around it.

@@jorafter Yes they are, however the USA is actually getting worse on drones, and when you see the possible damage done by "domestic" drones in the Ukraine I understand their concerns. But if that were their concerns "covert" flying would be an issue no someone in front of that many security camera's

It seems to me that security in the UK quite frequently consists of people who speak very poor english. It just makes no sense to have theese people in a position where they interact with the public. Also, they seem to have very little understanding of law (perhaps due to language difficulties?) and then they end up trying to enforce whatever their bosses told them without regard to law. Is this sound? Is this a way to have a disposable yet obedient workforce so you as a company can get away with doing bad things by just terminating theese people? Please dont think of this as me having a go at theese people. I am not english myself and have never been to the UK. I dont judge people based on where they come from but rather on how they behave towards others.

If you buy data in small quantities, say quarter of a pound or even 6 ounces, it's very expensive. Better to buy it in bulk packs - at least 5 pounds in weight. Much, much cheaper! 😎

If you can only afford small amounts don't go for the lower plan with less data for more mony, ask for the bit bucket offer - all the bits lost in transit or dropped at a port out of the line are swept together and put in yhe bucket for a fraction of price even compared to bulk buying.

The security guard at 14:35mins is highly likely to be a former British Army Gurkha, talking on the radio to another former Gurkha. When leaving the army their natural transition is in to security. There are also a number of Security firms that are owned by ex Gurkha's too.

Guy from the hotel says, "I can't let you be here," citing health and safety, etc. While standing across the road from where he has any authority over the people who work or stay in his hotel. He says he has seen videos but clearly didn't pay attention when he watched. Maybe he will have took what you were telling him in, for next time now. Data centre people were all over the top, right from the start. Worrying how people just think it's ok to just grab what they want. I wouldn't like to be a woman in his company if his self-control is like that!

It's all National Security that's why they has so many foreign agents working there and hence the language problem. Have to call the place Camera House, so remember to smile, also they film you, you can't film them(funny how that works). And if cameras are only for security purposes, then why so many? And why ain't you allowed your own private personal security camera filming? Bet you they'll claim the camera are for the buildings own private security and is not there to film random private people who just walk pasted, which the cameras will do. If they can film you walking past in public, then you can film them back from said public place, simple. If they want total privacy then build a tall solid high fence, better still build a dome over the whole place, wouldn't have worry about filming at all, drones still can fly over but can't see in(can't really see now, they don't seem to know that). Bonus to having a dome, is you wouldn't need any security cameras outside either, only inside for when and if someone brakes in and the usual spying on workers.
