I have since 2023-04 an antenna mod video. In my opinion the perfect antenna for the Cetus X FPV kit suitcase and for other quads with a circular antenna ! As an example: If you want to fly another drone with the kit, such as the Happymodel Crux35.

I had a lot of fun with Beta FPV Cetus Pro. It has only one cons the flying time. Only 2.5 min in Acro mode. What about Cetus X ? You didn't say any word about flying time ...

Do I need a ham technician license to fly this drone?

What does flying a more capable freestyle micro quad bring to someone before flying an avata?! If you are out-flying the avata, the most sensible route would be to start building a DIY quad ready for the o3 air unit from DJI. The avata is a brilliant beginner quad.

In my last video from yesterday (Final episode of my very first FPV) at the very end of the video, you can see in a picture what I will do with the parts of the Cetus X soon. (2,0 inch Twiglet Mini 2S). I only had to change the camera and the VTX, because the camera and VTX from the Cetus X are not compatible with the BETAFPV Micro Canopy 2022 that I really want. It would also be possible to use all parts of the Cetux X with the Crux3 canopy, for example, but the VTX would be loose in the canopy or is more difficult to attach and would probably need an insulated foil so that the VTX does not touch other circuit boards... However the advantage with the Crux3 canopy would be that you would be independent of the BETAFPV ecosystem…
