This is the review everyone's been waiting for. Nobody else has the guts to test drones in these conditions. Great review as usual. It's incredible how stable it is and the long battery life means you have more confidence in sending the drone out to nowhere and know that it'll have enough juice to fight the wind to get back home. Next up ... active track test with the trees. You should floater on that test to make sure you can get it back cause you know it won't be as good as the Skydio 2. 😃

I'm really impressed. I started with FPV drones in 2012, long before BLHeli and Oneshot125 changed the game of stability. Changed to LOS RC planes in 2014 and now Im back at FPV/drones. In 2012 the internet was full of DJI customers complaining about fly aways. And now, 10 years later I see a video where at nasty conditions a DJI drone holds GPS position, delivers perfect vids and is still in full manual control of the owner. Outstanding!

The only channel where obstetrical avoidance/active track/wind resistance of Drones get pushed to their limits. I always keep an eye in this channel when new Drones come out. Thank You for taking your time to make these videos.

This is an awesome review, great work, great video. The Mavic 3 looks outstanding but the golden point here is you my friend for having the courage to test flight in these conditions using your own money to get the drone. This is what a real review should be. It's interesting how this guy purchased the drone and gave this good of a review while other sponsored reviews get given the drone for free and they show a backyard flight.

That was some daredevil move to take it out so far in such gusty conditions! I’ve seen the level of stability in 30 mile/hr winds and was absolutely astonished by the capability and had to get one!

I live in the Great Lakes area, so one of my favorite things to film and take pictures of are the many cargo ships that come through. Having a Mavic 3 along with than zoom camera has taken things to a new level. Before I always worried about flying too close to the ships. Now I am able to get incredible close-up shots, without worrying about disturbing the crew.

Super thanks for doing a real world test. You're far braver than I am. I always test in small increments moving up to the items limits. Great job and I'm glad the drone came back intact. Actually I'm glad the drone came back at all under those conditions.

Impressive! Mine has shipped and I am eagerly awaiting it. I use mine for work, and the ability to hold stationary in any type of wind I'd fly in (a lot less than what you are flying in here) was a big reason for my upgrade. Also the increased flight time ti be able to stay up longer even in windy conditions.

Hey Ray.....super video mate...I particularly like the pan around the zeezand ship. I've flown an inspire 1 for years and want to mention some things to you. Naturally these are completely different craft yet in my first week of owning the inspire I flew mine over the sea making a video for the R.N.L.I here (british lifeboats)....I don't know if you have sonar on the belly of the mavics but if you do please note particularly on a sunny day .....the reflectiveness on the sea surface under the radar on the belly throws sonar into confusion.....point being my craft erratically Heightened and lowered when flying only a few metres above the sea surface.....so if you do have sonar on your mavic belly be aware of this. Another thing is when i flew over the Isle of skye the properties in the rock on the mountains did affect the compass readings (magnetic differences within the rock) it may affect calibration and compass bearings within some rocky zones. Lastly SEAGULLS!....Once I made the mistake of flying around the English cliff coastal zones and it was in the gull nesting season....they mobbed my inspire 1 and didn't knock it but when reviewing post production footage came dangerously close to it at speed.....to be honest with you I think you will be okay with your mavic and certainly in sport mode. I after having used such a big craft for yrs definitely want one of the mavics with the hassleblad sense as it is a real nuisance to hump an inspire 1 on a rucksack up mountains etc. Also my flight time at very best sits around 18 mins ....and when flown in icy conditions in mountains is realisticly around 12 minutes ...not enough time to film in a relaxed manner. I have also learnt that the right mavic can do all that an inspire 1 can do and the hassleblad lense is certainly better than the original Inspire 1 sense/camera....I really want that extra flight time too.....Thanks for your super vids....well produced, effective and to the point...hope my tips will be useful to you .
