With 3,540 feet and 28,000 acres (43.753 mi2 or 113.32 km2) of land makes El Yunque the biggest rainforest in the Caribbean. It is home to over 200 species of trees and plants, 16 of which are endemic to the forest. As part of El Yunque there are a few rivers like El Espiritu Santo. It takes almost 4 and a half hours walking to get from Minas Falls to "El Pico". El Yunque is composed of four different forest vegetation areas: Tabonuco Forest, Palo Colorado Forest, Sierra Palm Forest, and Dwarf Forest.
We're in the making of a largest documentaries series of this emblematic forest.
