Hey everyone!
This so far was the most fun I have had flying the DJI Mini 2 SE. For an overcast day the drone handled very well and took some awesome photos and video!
I think the biggest take away for me from this video is the ability to fine tune the zoom feature in general, but also while filming! So you can adjust your composition without missing any of the actions.
The second big take away for me was how much more footage I was able to capture with a subject that was so close. The battery life was much better and I was able to focus on creating the shot I felt was the best.
Lastly, I was surprised to see such a close encounter with a Gull. Normally they keep their distance from my drones. However, after thinking about it more I truly think the bird just didn't see or hear the Mini 2 SE until it was right over it. At. which point it turned around and landed back on the lighthouse. Keep in mind obstacle avoidance is only available on the bottom of this drone. I hope you like the video, let me know in the comments!
