The waypoints in hyperlapse are great. It would be nice if they introduced SAVEABLE waypoints into regular flight modes, so that you could revisit the same locations over time (say like every few months) to show changes to the same flight path.

You already can save and load waypoints in the DJI fly app. You can reverse the order as well.

After having my air2 for a year and never done hyperlapses, it’s great to see just how fast and easy it is to perform these shots. I’ll be heading on a beach and tubing getaway this weekend so I’ll finally be trying these out. Course lock and circle hyperlapses seem to be my favorite as they require too much time to perform when wanting to get quick shots and get back to the activities. Keep up the great work and information!

I love how the circle mode seems quite smooth. Really cool to see how the objects move in relation to the drone rotational pattern. This is probably one of the best videos I have seen showing hyperlapse where it is easy to understand and easy to use. Having all this in such a small package in the Mini 3 Pro is awesome. Great job!

Also, in Course Lock once you've locked the direction of flight you can rotate the drone and tilt the gimbal so you can use it to do sideways flybys of subjects (say parallel to a road or river) and you can save waypoint "missions" and repeat them later (useful for flying the same route over a period of days or even months).

I would definitely use hyperlapse. The type I'll use will depend on the situation I want to record. Free and circle would be good for shorter clips. Whereas, locked and waypoints are also useful but may be battery power intensive depending on the settings desired. Careful planning would certainly help in taking nice shots.

As a tech inthusiast I almost can not grasp how such a small drone is capable of doing those type of shots so clean. The hyperlapse shots would look incredible up in the mountains, specially the waypoint one. Just imagine hiking up geting filmed with the clouds moving so fast in the background🙌

I like the circular hyperlapse the most, focusing on the movement of the people or vehicles in the subject area. Hope to have a mini 3 pro one day to test it out! Really love your videos Aldryn, they show all the functionality in good detail and you show what how to use the app in good clear detail. Keep up the good work!

The waypoint feature on the Mavic Mini 3 pro is really cool to be on a tiny drone and is a major improvement over Mini 2. Its hefty price tag is a big drawback for ordinary users like me.

Motion Lapse, Hyperlapse and Timelapse’s have always been my favorite thing to do with a camera. But there’s definitely something special about a Drone Hyperlapse. It’s on another level. I can’t wait to get my hands on a Mini 3

Even though I don't own a good drone, I love watching your vids on entertaining topics such as hyperlapses. Hyperlapses especially combined with the tilt-shift effect is always something I always wanted to do when I get a better drone for myself. I like waypoints for hyperlapse to me it just makes sense, set your targets, and go! This works great for night time flights. Thanks again for your videos, even though I am a licensed drone pilot and have a large amount of air time logged I do enjoy watching your videos because there’s always something to be learnt.

So simple yet well explained, the mini 3 pro is my first ever drone, had it for 3 weeks here in Shanghai and already have taken it out 23 times! It's awesome but never did a hyperlapse before but after watching this I definitely have the courage to try, awesome content!

Great hyperlapse video tutorial. I haven’t done any hyperlapses using my DJI Mini but will try it out. I think the free mode hyperlapse seems to have the most amount of flexibility in terms of movement and direction while you’re piloting the drone yourself. Can really get some free flowing shots without being limited to certain movements. Great info on the different intervals and and hyperlapse duration.

The locked direction hyperlapse is super cool even in short clip lengths. Also love that it’s so easy to preview what you’ve shot. Definitely makes me consider buying a drone.

Great Video! One of the primary reasons I got the mini 3 pro was for the hyper lapse and other intelligent flight modes. This was a nice summary, have tried one hyper lapse but plan on doing more in the next few days, but also waiting on the fly more kit for more time in the air. Interesting timing. I just did my first hyperlapse last night. I captured a sunset so just used free. Lots of cloud movement which added to the cool factor.

I love taking hyperlapse of the windmills nearby. it's pretty neat to see them spin and to have the clouds move by in the background.
