Here's an idea: There is no reason to use this drone to carry ANYTHING. Its sub-250 gram for a REASON: to avoid breaking the law and being regulated and registered. Stop trying to ruin these wonderful machines by putting dumbass ideas into people's heads. And maybe try removing some from yours.

Great video but here's an idea for you. How about incrementally pouring water out of the bottle until the drone is able to lift it then marking how much water is left in the bottle at the drone's maximum payload ability. You can then weigh it at home to get an accurate measure of weight. Don't forget to include the weight of the string used to attach the weight to the drone. I'm sure the drone could have lifted more. 👍👍

My test showed, it can lift 8 to 10oz (227 to 283gm), depending on the battery (plus or standard).

None of these weights are recommended or supported by DJI OEM data, so, why don't you try a series of flights, lifting different loads & increasing by increments, & timing the results, & either put the results on a spreadsheet, or post a video?

I put a skin on mine, and it doubled the weight. The battery performance will likely be affected, but it looks nicer and is more visible in the daytime.

1L of water = 1,000 grams! It did not lift it, but sure wasn't too far off. Maybe max lifting is 500g, or 600g? Ofc that would limit flight time markedly. Cool video, thanks much! .. _this lil drone reminds me of how hummingbirds sound when nearby, aha_🐦

Video was cool, but the thumbnail was too much (24kg) while the drone can't lift 1kg, maybe a thumbnail for around 5kg is more accurate. Also i am planning to buy mini pro, any advices?

The drone is meant to fly and be used as an aerial camera. Wondering how much it can lift means you must be bored. They are designed for payload. Use a Hercules aircraft if you want a payload.
