@@TheDroneCreative just as an FYI, I chose the M3 over the mini3 because I have developed a stress related tremor/weakness in my right hand and it took 45mins to replace 4 of those tiny propellor screws! Also I decided the extra reach (tele cam) would be valuble in filming/photography that is less intrusive to others. In Australia there is still some angst among the general public, so distance is a bonus. Hopefully, the C1 stickers become available for the M3 before we holiday in the UK-Scotland and Iceland next year.

Hi Matthew, great video 👍 Quick question if you happen to know. The gimbal adjustments in cine mode don’t work on my new drone. Ok when not flying but as soon as in the air any adjustments don’t work. I read in one forum it is a known problem. Any adjustments only work in cine mode when you have the sensors set to brake not bypass. No biggy I guess. Just wondered if you had found this? 👌

great video man! How do I allow my gibmal to rotate over 0 degrees? Before the advanced settings were moved, you had to option to allow this, but now I can't seem to find the setting

Hi Mattheww! Love the channel. Thank you for all of your helpful tips. On the M3pro, it keeps stopping during waypoint hyperlapse due to obstacle avoidance even though it is turned off. The controller says "Hyperlapse paused due to obstacle detection." Is there any way to really turn off obstacle avoidance during a waypoint hyperlapse? Maybe I am trying to fly too low? Thanks.

I have a few questions Matthew, and I hope you are up for them. First one is for a beginner drone pilot and someone who is going to take their FAA part 107 exam, what would you recommend as a first, training drone? Thank you. Second question is the remote control unit you describe in the video, can it be used with different drones that I may own at some point? Or, do I need one controller for each drone? I'm trying to figure out how to remap controls to allow me to use the left stick up/down for the gimbal angle and have the gimbal wheel control altitude instead. I understand DJI fly won't allow this, but would the RC Pro controller be able to do this with a 3rd party flight app like dronelink or the Litchi beta?

Great video, thank you 👍 Is there a way of buffering the side to side movement of the Mini 3? When I'm flying forward, I seem to keep moving the stick sideways. I don't want to switch off the side to side movement, just make it so it needs more stick movement before it does move. Thanks.

Hey! There absolutely is. Simply decrease the "pitch & roll" expo setting and this will make it so you need more joystick input to move sideways.

While recording a waypoint hyperlapse, if in any in between waypoint is set with camera pointing 90 degree down, my Mini 3 Pro is getting stuck there and keeps on taking photos at same point instead of rebounding the camera up to continue the remaining way points - Did you try this or faced this issue ?

Hey Billy! The waypoints only work on the Mavic 3 and Mavic 3 classic. Not the Mini 3 Pro unfortunately.

Hey Matthew, I'm still debating between ordering the Mini 3 Pro or the Air2S within the next month as my first semi-pro drone. I was hoping that you could do a video which would be incredible helpful for thousands of people, and do an overview video explaining in which countries having a sub-250g drone makes a significant difference as a traveler/tourist. I've taken a quick look at the drone laws in some commonly visited countries, but even then it's not so clear - for example, if a 250g+ drone needs to be registered in a certain country, how feasible is it to do on short notice for a brief period? Is it expensive, or difficult for a non-resident to do before arrival? And what about just bringing a drone through a country in transit to a different final destination? I have not been able to find a general "drone-weight travel guide" and as you seem to travel a bit, I thought you might be up to the task of compiling a general comparison. Basically, in which popular countries does having a sub-250g drone make a significant difference to a traveler, compared with one over that weight? I hope you can help me and many other travelers out. Cheers!

Hey! Generally speaking my advice would be that if you travel a lot and want to use a drone then the safest bet is the Mini 3 Pro, but I will get a video put together to try and help!

I sure wish DJI would implement a feature in the Fly App that would allow you to turn on the RC Ctrlr Only, Not the Drone, and allow you to create a Profile of all the settings and preferences that one would want and then when you're done, you would turn on the Drone and upload the profile to the drone. This would eliminate the Drone from Over-heating, save Battery-time, and allow you to choose comfortably, not feeling rushed, because you're trying to do it quickly to preserve battery time!

If you're talking about accessing and changing settings without having the drone on, I think you can (at least with with the RC-N1 controller). When you open the DJI app, tap the 'Connection Guide' button on the lower left screen. Then, on the 'Select Aircraft Model' screen, tap the 'Camera View' button on the top right corner. From there you can access some of the settings even with the drone off. It's a little hidden, but it is accessible if this is what you're looking for.

the newest version seems removed the "upward gimbal" tilt function for the Mini2, its kinda dissapointing coz i felt that the Mini2 is about to be kill by DJI bit by bit by removing the main features every updates they release, i hope they dont remove the take-off function next update.

Problem is dji is best and gives many features in drone but problem is these features can be used only when aircraft is also on but when u keep setting your and finding features for your best videos and photos till then u will see your have very less battery to use and very less time to capture. I request dji to focus on battery for more fly time so that we can enjoy all they features that thet r giving in drone. Also DJI should fix the problem of drone getting heat up when just kept on for update or setting up when it gets heat up the camera gimbal goes crazy and just don't work.
