to be honest, quite disappoint when DJI CE is so weak. i saw some video from CHINA , SRRC seems have better range ( FCC>SRRC>CE). anyways, luckily there is an option to modified it to FCC

As long as the area is free of obstacles, you can go far. With obstacles mine goes like 1500 or 1600. Have not tried it in a open area just yet

The range for the Mini 3 Pro are OC3 12km range distance on FCC rule area, it’s on range there no need of hack

there's no hacks, this guy is most likely using a legitimate FCC drone with a plus battery installed because he isn't in europe. unless so, because the distances are insanely great, this guy used some sort of signal enchancer, or something like that.

Also remember that the drone only measures the height at takeoff. So if you take off from low elevation and the ground rises up as you fly out, your actual height will be less than is read on the controller yes...

400 feet is the USA limit for non 107 flyers. The drone can actually fly much higher.

It’s depend on the environment area and gps signal , some area have more interference signal than other , around my home I can flight 3km but i test in a close region reserve and i almost pass 8km

I flew out 26,000ft today with mini 3/rcn1🪫 I’m gone upload the flight tonight on my channel. But I went downtown & flew out over the river which gave excellent reception. The rc controller sucks so I use rcn1 with iPhone.

Use the original remote control of the drone that comes without a screen

It also depends on the number of connected satellites. Look at the video. You will find 32 connected satellites, and there are no obstacles to catching the signal.

@@radektheplayer you need buy a hack for dji rc-n1 remore. It's simple way. For DJI RC (remote with DISPLAY) you need buy custom Android OS.

@@luisstefan7160 There are many, many users with the same issue. I checked KZfaq and some forums. Please check the DJI forum and you will see that this is a serious issue which was discovered since the drone was out and supposedly DJI fixed it with the latest update but I don't think it was fixed. Now, we have to be fair and say that there are many factors which influence the signal from the RC to the drone. However, this is the first DJI drone with so many complaints about the range.

BTW, I did numerous tests and in one of them I managed to fly 4228 meters one way and then back. However, the key is to mention the conditions of the flight. I drove to the highest hill nearby and flew the drone away. The important thing to remember is that the drone was flying almost downwards from its home point and I had almost no houses on the flight path. This tells me that the drone is very susceptible to many frequency disturbances around, most likely, much more than the other DJI drones. I am battling some users on the DJI forum who downplay the issue but it's real. Why haven't we heard about any other drone with so bad range? Others are saying that 300 m range in urban conditions is OK range. I am not convinced in that.

@@MrAntonioTech Many are talking about some sort of 'mod' and claiming that it fixes range issues and that dji is purposely making it so that the drones cannot fly far for laws and restrictions etc, I dont know anything about this 'mod' but it could solve or atleast improve many peoples range issues.

@@MrAntonioTech Good day Sir, I have been flying drones now for well over 5 years from DJI to Autel and even started with the Hubsan 502S, and yes the DJI MINI 3 Pro has been the worst drone for range that I have ever experienced, I was just getting over 1k to a max of 1.5k from my back garden heading out into the countryside, at 120 meters then I upgraded the RC the one with the screen, I fitted external antennas on this RC and now I get a range of over 5000 meters at 120 meters high, Yes I know os will say that doing this to the RC is defeating the object of the Game , ok yes it takes a little longer to attache the Antennas but I am getting better range and also stronger video, at the end of the day I am able to get all the Video I want from my DJI MINI 3 PRO.

Because i am sure hè is in FCC mode, most of the ppl that have problems around 1km or less have the drone in CE mode
