DJI Mini 3 Pro | How to use the RC Screen + how to do update on the controller.
TIP:It may over heat while updating, try using a small fan to keep the drone cool.

I bought my Mini 3 mainly because of this remote. I love it. No phone to worry about fading out while you're using it. BIG thumbs up👍

Thanks for the update..especially the access to the settings menu..tap top screen to get menu and drag down to access network/bluetooth stuff. Great video.

The RC is very light, and yes the screw holes are for attaching a lanyard which makes things so easy.. Cheers..

Well done, thanks! Ordered my Mini 3 Pro with the RC screen, eta end of June. Is there any need to connect my iPhone either via BT or WiFi to the controller? If so for what purpose? I cannot create a hot spot; hence my question.

Thank you JR, hope your drone arrives soon. There is no need to have your phone/tablet connected to the RC screen. You can update maps before you go out. That's the best thing about this set up, no need for anything else. Many thanks for watching :)

Is there a way to switch from Video to photo mode? there is a button in the RCN1

At the present moment, just the Mini 3 Pro unless you buy the smart controller which costs a lot more :)

Can I use Air 2s charger to charge RC or need to buy special charger for RC?

Good question, I don't own the Air 2S but can't see why you can't. Best ask DJI Support, let me know how you get on :)

On my CE unit there are auto and manual selectors but they are not functional and cannot select either unless the drone is disconnected but when reconnecting to drone it reverts back to auto. I want 2.4 ghz for better distance connection. How can it be done.

I think with the new upgraded version they dont DJI doesnt want you playing with the connection slection manually and may feel the auto selection is the better way to connect to the better of 2.4 ghz. I decided to return mine today after multiple poor connections when flying directly over ocean without obstruction or interference and only having 1-2,000 m distance. The drone kept going in and out of RTH and its not acceptable. My old Mavic Pro still goes 10-15,000 m. Im sticking with the old guy for now until they fix the bugs in this $1000 one.

spain is too hot for flying dji drones but it can be done with caution.

It can get very hot during July and August, usually I fly early morning or late afternoon with no problems. The RC Screen has done very well in direct sunlight, obviously try to keep in the shade :)

Any chance you could do a video on downloading videos from drone to phone? I'm having problems connecting my phone to the drone to download my videos

@@shaunthedrone I can't download to my Honor Note 10 but just tried it on my wife's Samsung S9 and it works so it must be something on Honor stopping it. Will investigate further :~)
