I'm still waiting for them to unlock the Goggles 2 and motion controller 2 for the mini 4 like they did for the Mini 3 and Air 3, then it will become irresistible.

I have one YOU didnt know. In Cruise Control, you can add additional movements, one at a time, cumulatively. Example: Fly forward in cruise. Push throttle up for slight altitude rise... hold it, tap assigned Cruise Control button (Cruise Control Updated.) Now add just left yaw. Tap CC button "Updated" - each addition keeps all running flight controls, and adds JUST ONE MORE. ITS CUMULATIVE, AND SUBTRACTIVE (YOU CAN "REMOVE" a movement by reversing a stick movement and updating cruise. Its damn near magical!

I just upgraded from mini 2, obstacle detection and way point flight are terrific features, the new transmission system is very strong, I can retain control through metal buildings!

Darren, thanks to you and your videos, I now own a brand new Mini 4 Pro… 💵💵💵 Talk about the “omnidirectional vision system” of the Mini 4 Pro vs the Mini 3 Pro “tri-directional obstacle sensing”. A few days ago I was showing the flying capabilities of my M3P to a prospective buyer who was interested my M3P. So I’m flying in a narrow alleyway with shrubs on either side, I went to turn around and hit the wrong direction on the joy stick and flew sideways into a shrub, down went the drone right in front of my buyer. Fortunately, the M3P was only about 3.5 meters from the ground and landed upside down on grass, no damage and best of all the guy bought the drone anyway.😅 Glad the M4P has omnidirectional vision, although I don’t want to test it 🤪

How do you operate the Bluetooth transfer?

Does the Omni directional side sensors work during quick shots like orbit or circle?

No one else to turn to but you! Random! I have a feiyutech g6 gimbal that worked perfectly! I accidentally did the stupid firmware that everyone says not to and that I avoided for 3 years.. I used the app and now like everyone else.. it’s a limp brick.. no video exists on how to fix it. You would be a hero to a ton of people if you can figure out a fix and make a video.!!!!!!

I got my 4 a few days after release. Since then I’ve flown 20 flights and a few hours. At first there wasn’t much issue but after the latest update, I’m getting connection errors when trying to do quick downloads. That’s not so bad but there’s been another problem. When I start the drone and RC, the RC says “move antennae” bad signal nearly every time I fire it up. I’m within a few feet of it! Ito clearly not a hardware issue which scares me because can this happen ( lose signal) during flight which elevates risk of a crash or blow away. I’m being patient with all the bugs hoping as each update takes place they fix or improve some of these little annoying things

Can somewhat help out? I got in a hurry to film when I purchased the 4 Pro. Having the 3 Pro already I just threw one of those batteries in and I didn’t charge the first battery fully before first using it. Does that mess up any of The smart features? If so can I fix it in anyway? P.S thanks for your videos Ive learned a lot from you!!

So Darren, if you were to go out TODAY and buy a new Mini drone, would you get the Mini 3 Pro or the Mini 4 Pro? The Mini 4 has the newly imposed restrictions and I would have to request it to be declassified. The Mini 3 is compatible with DJI accessories such as the goggles, which DJI does not know if the Mini 4 will be compatible with or not. The Mini 4 has much more in terms of features and functionality. In short, which would you buy?

Great informative video thanks. But I have to say that I am on my second Mini Pro 4, because on both drones I am getting some pretty severe pixel flashes and juddering. Luckily they're within DJI warranty and when I report the issue I don't get much help from DJI apart from being advised to reflash the firmware. I think I have tried everything but I would be glad to hear any advice on how I could correct this problem.

Darren, great video again👍👏I now have both the Mini 4 Pro and the Air 3 with the same screen controller. Because of the upgrade from the Mini 3 Pro to the awesome Mini 4 Pro I decided to sell my Mavic 3 Classic and bought the Air 3 in place. The Mavic 3 is great and maybe a little better because of the big Hasselblad camera but I simply could not resist the flexebility and the also great stacked sensor and tele lens of the Air 3 at the end. With both new drones I am ready for the next 2 years at least! Looking forward to see the comparison video. Greetings lfrom 🇳🇱

A question for anyone who graduated from a 2 to the 4. I’ve maxed out everything on the 4 as far as flight and it still doesn’t feel as responsive or direct as the 2. The 4 seems sluggish to inputs at times and is definitely lagging on the map. The 4 sort of keeps you in a more defined flight….like I can’t spin and turn the same way I could in a 2. The 4 feels like it’s more limited. I understand this isn’t a stunt quad or performance drone so to speak but I don’t think the 4 is as satisfying to “fly”. Anyone else notice this? Any tips outside of maxing out the envelope in the settings?

I turn off the new return to home feature as I like the high and safe method from before. Maybe it is due to age, or that they don't look good on a wide monitor or TV, but I don't like vertical video nor look at many reels. The obstacle avoidance seems to me, to be better than even on the Mavic 3.

Wow! 2GB of storage

I lost my brand new mini 4 yesterday. It’s now lying on the bottom of a deep lake. They are incredible and incredibly easy to lose forever if you are not careful.

I would not trade in my air 2s for the air 3 because of the bigger sensor 🤡
