Spectacular video Ian. This little drone is on my xmas list after selling my bigger drones(due to the CAA changing the rules - even for x-PFcO pilots like myself) . There is much more freedom to video scenes like yours. Well done Ian, beautifly flown. 👍

Thank you I have seen some of your videos. As a young lad I lived near Polebrook Airfield and seen the Thor Missiles out of the hanger and upright. The one I saw was your video of Harrington.

You should see how flying in dark is in the country. There is little to no ambient light so you are flying in a mostly pitch dark sky. When I go night flying (every other night), I travel to one of the more populated areas (more lights) one to two miles away. Can easily see the drone due to the Firehouse strobe mounted underside forward of the battery. Coming home is more difficult, but the "H" at the home point really helps a lot.

Same if I fly at night on the West Coast of Scotland. No ambient lights in a lot of areas. 😊

Well done! It looks like either a well planned flight or lots of "common sense". Flying at a height well above all obstacles gives all freedom to fly. Here's what I got, done from a quick decision but in an area known for a very long time: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/etSXodiq0tLUlnU.html
