i did it on my cinelog25, but be aware i was 3d printing my own camera mount otherwise prop guards will cover 40% of you shot

I really hope they can improve the dynamic range a bit more, it only looks like a very slight improvement over my Action 2. I'll be upgrading purely for the video link though!

dynamic range is definitely the biggest miss this camera has, but taking in consideration it beeing a video transmission system its pretty impressive. But as i said in my video it will not replace my gopros on fpv drones for now

Great Video, I saw that you added some conformal coating to the flight controller/esc. Did you add any conformal coating to the DJI 03 Air Unit? Or are you feeling like it is waterproof enough from DJI already?

Great video, and killer locations! I saw that you had a video fed out to a phone? I thought you could do that over Wi-Fi, but it looked like you were tethered (usb-c?). Is that through the DJI fly app on iPhone or were you using digiview/fpv-out on android? Thanks!

Hi! I can see that some 5 inch and 7 inch drones with DJI O3 Air Unit are already available for purchase. But I can't find any sub 250g option. Does it exist? Or nobody offers it yet? What do you think? Do we have to wait for smaller/lighter versions of new Air Unit from Caddx? Is O3 Air Unit too big for sub 250g drones? If not, why nobody offers a sub 250g drone with it? Or somebody is already selling such drones?

yes you can control it, there are also ND filters available, if you watch the footage in my video you definitely gonna notice the motion blur

i actually like them, but i heard that as well from some pilots. however they fit my face perfectly and i had no issues. only thing to mention, sometimes they start to fog up, but that was a rare case but worth to mention

it was actually tricky, i had to design and 3d print my own camera mount for the O3 otherwise you will have props in your shot, however i think there will be specific frames coming out in the future that dont need DIY parts to make it work

be aware i designed and 3D printed my own mounting system for the O3 and moved the camera a bit forward in order to have the props out of the way. Does it not have really bad range using the controller e.t.c like the avata ??. Or does it work better when the drone isn't dji.

i did not try the controller to its limits, just flew a few times. The bigger problem for me was more i was used to fly my TBS Tango and its hard for me to fly with other remotes, so i just added crossfire to my drone and used the O3 air unit just for video transmission. but looking at the range the video transmission provides its pretty impressive, remote will probably be better as there is less data to transmit

GoPro nur Hypersmooth oder Reelsteady, Gimbal eigentlich nur für Kameras mit Zoom-Objektiven.

beautiful shots man, was this shot in the dji flat mode or standard color profile? i love the contrast but i would like the abilty to lift my shadows a little bit more and i feel in the flat mode i could do so,, cheers

yeah it was shot in flat mode. I always try to use to most flat colour profile on any camera i use. The O3 Air Unit is pretty damn good if you consider it being a transmission system. However i think the dynamic range can be improved on the camera.

I got the avata this year and it is amazing and like you said it's the same camera in the 03 here. The one part I don't like about this camera is in high contrast situations like in your video here with the vineyards, you lose a lot of detail when it's compensating for the sun low in the sky infront of camera. I had the same thing shooting in a forest with sun in the background. I understand you need to be able to see cause you're using the same camera to fly as to record but just one point of frustration for me. Still pretty amazing and those dives off those cliffs were sick! Great review man.

yes, it supports now all OSD information you can add in betaflight. so you are limited what betaflight offers and not what dji allows you to add, pretty nice

haha yes, feel good to be back and chatting with you guys. its the cinelog25 from geprc, its prebuil, just did some modifications for make it work for the O3, but im sure there is a dedicated O3 version coming out in the future. but you can also build your own 2,5 quad if you know how to do it

hey there @meli, always enjoy the content. Im curious as I have a Cinelog25 as well. Did you have to do anything crazy to install the o3 unit in it? Planning to get and try it with mine. Where it would site seems small and tight? Were there any or can there be potential heating issues?

One more question @Meli, The Cinelog25 AIO FC only allows up to BEC output of 1amps. The O3 Air Unit draws nearly over 1amp closer to 2amps. Have you had any problems with the AIO FC on the Cinelog25? I have other builds that us an AIO FC but BEC outputs to 2.5amps. Again just want to put it on the cinelog and wondering if you had any issues. Thanks for your content and doing what you do.

I like your room setup a lot! Great review on the O3 too! Just saw the ending now about Cinelog25. I hacked mine and got rid of the frame and built mine. The Cinelog25 design doesn't fly well outside when theres='s wind. I solved it. Anyways, nice ripping inside the house/studio.

what frame are you using? i actually was flying the cinelog25 mostly inside and in not windy conditions and it worked fine for me, but looking to maybe upgrade to another frame

@@alexmeliss I saw someone on youtube this year fly the QAV Pro micro. I asked him to post a non-stabilized version of his flight and he did post it. It flew really well. I had some shaking but I fixed it by increasing P and D. I had to play with it. Also Chris Thompson told me that a high D requires a stiff frame. The Cinelog25 is plastic which is why it comes with basic P&D settings.

DJI sagt bis zu 10KM im FCC mode, was ich aber zu bezweifeln wage, war 2KM weck und hatte keine probleme. das ist aber auch schon weit, zumindest für mich. im vergleich zum alten air unit fühlt sich die übertrangung viel besser und stabiler and und man hat auch bessere verbingund durch gebäude und mauern
