Thanks for your complete turorial and setting suggestions. But I have one question; on Osmo 3 anti-flicker can be adjusted, while on the Osmo 4 I cannot see this option. How can I change the anti-flicker from 50 to 60 Hz and viceversa? Thanks for your answer

I want to ask your opinion. It seems that the camera focus and resolution seems a bit bad. I tried vlogging my self and my face is out of focus. NGL, It's really bad. My samsung Note 8 (it's old) phone camera is much more focused and high res than this. I was hoping a lot since it's not exactly cheap, and I want more than my phone camera, since I'm willing to spend more. I'm thinking of returning it and buy a gimbal instead for the stability.

Hi! “A day late a dollar short” as they say, I just bought A4 and came across your video. I appreciate the custom personal settings, very helpful for me to follow. I don’t have much experience nor knowledge in shooting photos or videos using all the settings available. Is there a particular setting u can recommend for me to customize when shooting in low light ? Like strolling around after sunset with just artificial lights around the city. Great video! Any reccomendations for less noise at 4K/60fps when shooting in really low light with flickering nightclub lights? Curious to hear your recommendations. We have everything on auto profiles now with the low light enabled

If you’re shooting in really low light, you’re going to get noise - the only way to reduce is to use a camera with a bigger sensor.

I haven’t snorkeled with this camera, but I’d recommend the max resolution 4K and slow motion (120fps), plus a wide or even ultra wide field of view. There’s no telling on when to expect a new model, but DJI tends to not do yearly releases like GoPro does, so I think you’re safe to get this model now.

I’d go with the Pocket 3 instead. It has a bigger sensor and gimbal so it will do very well in low light compared to the Action 4.

I have a question, how do you keep the screen from going into Sleep mode when I'm videoing? I do 10 to 11 minute videos, no editing, I like the camera I wanna know how you can keep the screen going while I'm videoing. Not going dark and I have to touch you to make go back. Im a Dj and planing to film my gigs in clubs and around night time when its not that musch light around. Will anyone recomend this camera for that or the Gopro 12? I have a Canon 50mk2 but its to many settings on it and i can only record for 30 min at the time. One more thing can i film longer them 1h on the DJI 4 ?

It really depends on how loud your subject is. For me personally, I have a +6dB gain on my transmitter and a +3dB on the receiver.

I was testing the camera in 4k 30 walking around my city and when I turn the camera I feel like the motion blur is a little mushy and nauseating. I was basically using all default settings, what would you recommend to fix this? Maybe change the shutter speed?

Hi. Great Channel... and better than the myriad of other channels trying to do the same. You have a new Sub! My comment, on your C1, C2, C3 and C4 settings (which I have copied) the 30FPS settings do seem to produce noise (grainy) videos. The 60FPS seem to largely reduce this issue. I'm trying to stick to H264 where possible. Any thoughts on what might be producing the 30FPS issue? Thanks in advance and keep up the good work.

Some of the mounts can, but you’ll need an adapter to convert the DJI magnetic mount to the GoPro finger mount. Should be a cheap accessory you can find via third party sellers.

One thing I always see on the Action 4 footage I have seen on KZfaq is always artifacts especially with more motion. I heard your comment on this, but any reason why the GoPro footage doesn't show as many artifacts on KZfaq. This is where most of my footage would be used, so right now GoPro image quality always looks better. I like the user experience and better low light performance from DJI, but still leaning towards GoPro for the image quality. I am waiting to see how the hero 12 looks before making my final decision, but if I had to buy one today, hero 11 might edge out the action 4 for me.

@@1Know1tHurts after watching and reading a ton more and seeing some videos with some good settings for the action 4, I've done a 180. The user experience and reliability I think will be more satisfying and the better low light performance, mounting system, not having to buy a media mod, longer battery life. I am still going to wait to see the word on the Hero 12 but now think I will be satisfied with the Action 4 for my needs.

@@BullyOG I tested my Osmo 4 for the last 2 days and it is amazing. After the latest update I got 3 hours of video in 4k50 (after 60 minutes the camera said it overheated but kept on recording). In 4k25 I stopped my testing after 7+ hours with no overheating at all. I heard in Europe they have a regulation that cameras must switch off after reaching certain temperature. My copy is for Chinese market and looks like it doesn't have any restrictions in its firmware. I had GoPro Hero Black 9 before and Sony ZV E-10 and both overheated much faster than the Osmo (especially GoPro - after 20 minutes it switched off and you could do nothing about it, very frustrating). @@animesh8101I have one. Activation took like 2 minutes; the app basically does everything for you. I had to download a firmware update which took a couple extra minutes max. Overheating doesn’t happen, low light mode I haven’t really used yet. I bought this just to film fishing videos. “onepointeight” is just regurgitating GoPro fanboy nonsense. GoPro is great and I have no idea which is better. Quite frankly I don’t care. I chose the DJI because of the battery life and better reliability which is proven. Everyone knows GoPros overheat easily.

I just got the Action 4. Anyone having trouble transferring video with the Mimo app on iOS? It wound even load the preview. Uninstalled and reinstalled. Any help is appreciated!

@@kapurture On iOS go to Settings > Cellular > Turn off DJI Mimo app (from accessing cellular connection). It worked for me. Hope this helps.

I was able to fix this issue by disabling the cellular connection on the phone. The videos then showed up in the app and I was able to download them.

Turn your iPhone on airplane mode then enable wifi. No idea why this is happening still but that fixed it for me

Really wish the it was not going up and down when walking...so sad...i think ill return it as all i wanted was to mount it on my backpack and have stable/smooth video for my holidays..if it wobbles up and down its just horrible....

That’s hard to completely eliminate and it also depends on how you walk. I don’t have a smooth walking gait, so there is more bounce when I film. But when my partner films, he walks more smoothly so the footage looks better.

I thought I mentioned it, but low light image enhancement isn’t available in 4K. Only in 2.7K or 1080p.

Not bad, but not great either. Slow down! It’s not a race, give us the time needed to process the info. Pausing now and again is needed. When you switch resolution and frame rates this camera switches between H.264 and HECV . This drove me crazy, as first time I ever experienced this and wondered what was happening. My computer only plays HEVC in 1080p , I think, still confused. Serious problem, major problem with the settings, no one is talking about. And if you do, please pause so we can assimilate the info.

A very good guide but could you please check out the jitter problem when filming while running or on bike while filming others doing the same when they go under shade such as trees or less sunlight or mixed the image has bad jitter all you tubers if doing the job properly and not just trying to promote the product should be exposing this major failure thank you

The casing of your camera for this Action 4 guide appears to be the Action 3 grey casing. Also, how did you max the zoom to 4 when the total zoom for the Action4 is only 2?
