This would quite easily also fit the DJI Mavic or go pro Karma in the top zip compartment

I got this backpack and traveled a lot. Its very useful and you have plenty of storage. You can also take the backpack on the plane as hand luggage.

Straight to the point! great review man! I am checking around wether I should order the backpack with the Phantom 4 or another one not from DJI. I am carrying other gears but my main concern was where to put the laptop and it fits right in! It helped me! I give you a thumbs up! cheers

I bought this backpack too and since i`m having a lot of gear with me when traveling it won`t fit everything i carry with me technology wise. But for the drone it`s perfect. good review.

+TheNerdyExplorer Hey thanks for the feedback, yes I agree great bag for the phantom. I think the only thing that didn't fit well was the phantom 4 battery in the little pockets, however there is other space for them. It can be a bit deceiving when you see the size of it, thinking you can fit loads. However its main purpose is to accommodate the phantom in a safe way.

Just bought a used p4p, looking for a bag, but 1 thing stopping me from buying this bag is the design, it seems rushed, I don't like the idea of the landing gears facing outwards, I think they should have designed it so it faces downwards, the padding on the outside doesn't look very robust, I'm guessing one hard bump from a wall etc could damage the landing gears, the remote also looks like it needs to be squashed in order to fit in the bag properly, nice looking bag, but bad design imo.

Great video review: do you thing a set of Headplay goggles would fit in the top DSLR camera compartment? They are bigger than fatshark goggles if u have seen them before. I havent found a bag or case that can hold P4, 15 inch laptop and Headplay goggles yet. Hoping this bag will do the trick. Thanks!

+Chris Nenow I'm not sure as I don't own a pair, however it is a fair size compartment so you may be able to fit it. Might be worth checking dimensions on manfrotto site for the top compartment against the size of your goggles

+ColoBeauPhotog Not heard of any issues, but I know some countries don't allow drones, I wanted to take mine recently to morocco and read some real horror stories online, you need to be part of a proper film crew before they allow you do fly it

Great video! I'm have been looking for a bag jut like this for awhile now. I saw some reviews that showed the P4 didn't fit, but from your review it looks like it fits just fine. Where did you find the motor guards?

+frnklwrnr29 Hi thanks for the feedback, yes the phantom 4 fits really well, I did have concerns about the landing gear being slightly taller on the p4 but the front flap zipped up well. Can you share dimensions when it's full packed please? I'm wondering if it fits airline carry on luggage limits - 22 x 14 x 9 inches. Thanks!

+viktorhanacek Hi the dimensions are - (22 x 9 x 13 inches) or (56 x 23 x 34 cm) and weighs 1.9 Kg. The bag stays at that size when full or empty as its quite solid in its structure. The bag has been designed with these dimensions in mind.. However it can depend on who your flying with - few examples below for carry on luggage Emirates - 22 x 15 x 8 inches (55 x 38 x 20cm) Easyjet - 56 x 45 x 25 cm Turkish Airlines - 55x40x23 cm American Airlines - 56 x 36 x 23 cm Virgin Atlantic - 23 x 36 x 56 cm Hope that helps

+Narak Gal Hi thanks for the feedback, in regards to the rubber motor guards I've put a link on the previous comment. I bought them off amazon originally for a phantom 3, however they fit perfectly on the phantom 4. I'm sure you can also find these on eBay.

the DJI4 Batteries dont fit in the battery slots from what I understand

RIDE IN SECRECY the remade them to accomodate for them. I have one and it fits my p4p+ batteries just fine. I highly recommend!

Agree, music really not required but if it is added I would prefer not to hear the same track on loop. I still gave a thumbs up as these videos take time to produce and I appreciate your efforts.
