I recently upgraded my camera to the DJI Pocket 2, and in this video I go over what I love about it, and some of the deficits I've noticed in my week of using it!

Really cool to see you’re from Canada too. I’m trying to find a camera or video recording thing cause my gramma is getting older and I want to start capturing moments with her whilst she’s still alive. That has brought me to this video. I don’t wanna break the bank. Leaning toward the pocket 2 but I’m not sold completely

Yeah there are some alternatives, part of the selling feature for me was some of the extras like face tracking I got out of this for the price point Thanks for watching!

honestly I'm just waiting for the DJI pocket 3 to be in the same colour! They released a white DJI mic 2 so I'm thinking they definitely will release one... I still use the DJI pocket 2 now but definitely will upgrade.

Yeah? The Pocket 3 looks great too! I went with this however due to the price point and it met what I needed

I like the pocket 2 a lot but I don’t like how there’s no SD slot and no replaceable battery (there’s the battery bank attachments to be fair)

Yeah it is weird DJI didn’t allow better battery options considering their other devices

No micro SD card slot??? So how is the file transfer done and what capacity is the inbuilt storage?

@@jakkritphanomchit i think i was wrong, it does have a micro sd card slot… I think I was confusing it for the insta 360 go… I ended up buying the osmo pocket 3, it’s been a really good camera

I have a pocket 2 but I would only buy it now if it was say half price or less.

DJI doesn’t seem to drop their older tech price wise but tend to have good quality compared to what else is out there however

The Pocket 2 creator combo is listed for $400 now on the DJI site....I think this is a fair price. If it was listed for $500 and above, I would opt for the Pocket 3 instead for a few dollars more.

I didn’t know that! DJI seems to continually promote older items regardless, I kind of appreciate that they don’t completely phase out previous models

In Canada it's listed for $1000, almost double the price of the DJI Pocket 2, so while I don't disagree that the DJI Pocket 3 is great and far ahead, it's still substantially more money
