The A4 was NOT BAD... i'm debating if the low light + better image quality is a much bigger upgrade vs the waterproofing, wider field of view, interchangeable batteries, built-like-a-tank-ness.

Well, I'll be honest with you, I NEVER use my action cameras at night, it's just madness, but the Pocket 3 could actually be usable, I might need to try something out.

The advantage for me is the a4 is virtually smash proof and probably easy to whip out and film quickly. Great for roller coasters. P4 has less of the phone look snd less wide which is better if you want to film surroundings.

That is a sweet and wholesome moment with your little dumplings. It's a beautiful reminder that it's the little moments in life that fulfill your heart as a whole, what a lucky father they have. I'm also astonished at just how fluent your Polski/English is! So good in fact that may I ask which came first? As polish is one of the languages I'm learning myself (I've taken a break for now as it's quite challenging, lol). Oh, and regarding the cameras themselves: The pocket 3 seems like a good choice for a family cam because of the ease of use and the quality! (hopefully, my mum & siblings can use it fine, also shoot D-log or hlg for the best pic). I'd say it's the modern camcorder ...though the action 4 robustness is what I'll trust a toddler filming with.😅

It's such a nice camera!! Ohhh snap!! I told DJI recently, you guys pretty much own Hasselblad, surely you have the ability, design and money to build a full frame camera and go straight for Sony! I would so buy it!

Thanks for this comparison, I really think about getting it also for my videography channel as an addition for my Sony A7IV.... hmmm... could be the successor of my ZV-1,... still think it is a very decent camera for 1 inch also in low light

I went with the ZV-E1 as a back up to my A7S3, and use the ZV-E1 more now lol. The Pocket 3 is excellent, I can highly recommend it.

Doubt that it could replace my A7IV 😁 The ZV-E1 is basically a smaller A7S3 with AI features though 😁 but if you don't want to combine a lot of footage the Pocket 3 can be ver, useful when you don't want to carry the heavy stuff with you. For that I use still the gopro 10

Think the Action 4 was holding its own untill you went into the deep dark hole😀 then the Pocket 3 took over and won the Duel. I think both cameras have got pros and cons for what you need a camera for. I would like the Pocket 3 but i don't do much night time shooting,so it probably wouldn't benefit me. Still in two minds wether to upgrade to the A4 or P3.. decisions decisions.Really enjoy your natural and sometimes amusing videos..👍good work.

Well, you have to be careful with it, sure, it's nowhere near as durable as an action camera, it's not made for action.

I have a question every time I record a video on low light with the DJI Osmo Pocket 3 I get dots color green on my video just like the iPhone 15 Pro Max when I record a video. How can I avoid that on my DJI Osmo Pocket 3.

That’s basically how the lens is constructed, it bounces like around, so it’s best not to point the lens at strong light sources if that’s a possibility.

the issues (being stuck, not working anymore, etc) that people are having with pocket 3's flip screen just a few weeks after its release is what's stopping me from getting one. i know the action 4 is good as well but i need a big enough screen to see what im shooting because of my poor eyesight. the pocket 3's screen is perfect for me (as i have tested it in a dji store) but then again the malfunctioning issues are what's preventing me to get one.

I haven't had a problem with the screen yet, seems to work fine on mine. Well, you can always use the app for a bigger screen, the DJI app has almost zero lag and works really well.

Did you notice any overheating issues with your unit? Mine overheats after 20 Minutes at 4k/60. This issue seems to be only in Europe

As great as the pocket 3 performs in low light it can't replace the low light performance from a full frame camera

philip, you should really talk about the eu countries suffering from the overheating issue after 4-6 minutes of recording at 4k anyframe rate. the update fucks this camera so hard

I took my pocket 3 up the park on Monday at night, and u could see better on the screen than with my own eyes, then come back and put it on to a big 4k tv screen the pocket 3 is so good I did think it was well over priced but now I got it its worth every penny lol. You pay for what you get 😁👌👍🇬🇧

definitely OP3 wins no doubt, OA4 suffers from high ISO smear at dark area and I cannot blame for what it is, definitely I want a OP3 soon for vlogging or just family vids camera than having an iPhone it just sucks most of the time

@@PhillipSkraba no właśnie ja nie oglsdam na telefonie mam tv sony oled . Virtual Japan takze uzywa tego aparatu i osobiście był zaskoczony możliwościami tego aparatu. Na pewno jest lepsza od smartphonow w większości bo bodajze tylko Xiaomi ma 1 calowy obiektyw oraz SONy Exleria ma rewelacyjny low light jednak to nagranie z hdr robi takie wrażenie wystarczy poczytać komentarze . Kamerka za nieco ponad 3500 vs pelnoklatowky bezlusterkowiec za 3x cene pocketa + obiektyw no ja osobiście jestem pod wrażeniem. Polecam obejrzec jego nagrania z 10 minut PS ja mowie o modelu sony alpha 7 iii ale tego ze wsparciem 60 fps a to jest koszt kolo 15-17 tys zl bodajze

@@allstarbury mozesz go na olx kupic za 5k, ostatnio za tyle sam swoj sprzedalem zeby kupic ZV-E1. Jest to kompletnie inna narzedz do pracy, do tworzenia, sam sensor i glebia ostrosci jest duza wieksza. Pocket 3 to fantastyczna kamerka, ale jednak kompletnie ma inne zastosowania niz kamerki Sony z pelna klatka.

@@BatakGemblung If you dont have a soft cloth always with you to clean the IPhone-lenses, you risk some terrible flares. But otherwise, it’s only the small green dot.

Well, the conclusions are obvious 🤔. it's best to buy action 4 and pocket 3, the set will be perfect for family, holiday and sports use 😅 For a sports camera, I think the Action 4 looks great. Pocket 3 in dark scenes loses focus from faces and focus on whatever it finds, even though the eyes are very clearly visible. interesting, I thought there was some kind of eye-seeking autofocus or something similar.

Well, it works in normal mode, but in low light mode the Pocket 3 doesn’t have face detection which is a shame. It clearly wins in low light, yes.
