Beautiful video! It amazes me how people can see videos like this and still think the earth is a spinning sphere chasing the sun while hurtling through space almost a half million mph. A video like this depicts a motionless plane with a sun that is much, much closer then 93 million miles away!

My friend that is a beautiful film,the moment you emerged through the clouds was stunning, perfect music also,watching with my young son he said to me "daddy are those buildings on the horizon heaven" honestly he thinks it is heaven,brought a tear to my eye,he is enthralled by this video,thank you so much for sharing.

A DJI spark climbs at 450 ft/min. So if the cloud ceiling is 1000ft it takes just a bit over two minutes. I have videos of this

Did you know you risk getting propeller icing when you fly into clouds when the temperature is hovering around freezing?

I fly all winter with Spark. The temperature dropped to -15 c and there was no problem. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/bcl4irObzJrQYIU.html

Icing typically occurs when the temperatures are slightly below freezing at lower altitudes and slightly above freezing at somewhat higher altitudes. Also moist clouds are the main contributing factor. This is what happened to me. I accidentally flew into a low cloud and a temperature was about 28 degrees Fahrenheit. I did I did record a video of the incident and it's on my channel check it out. You might enjoy it and you might learn something.I

eh it's not that scary, the scariest part is getting it in time back before the fog releases too much rain, and it really isn't that bad aspecially if you monitor your gps location and keep an eye out for any possible errors.

I have seen a video (kzfaq.info/get/bejne/htV4rLieqq-of2g.html) from a Scottish guy and his Spark thought the clouds were ground and very slowly descended through them as if the SPARK was trying to land, did you have any such issues?

Sensors will not behave up there they will trigger by the clouds and humidity .not a great idea flying above clouds,overall ,this video is great.

looks like you were about 550 feet....just a tad higher than what i can do at 400. But if i climb a mountain at 300 feet i should be fine at 350 to get the same shot but safer.
