This drone reminds me of the parrot mombo i had! Think i spelled it wrong! Lol it flew away into my neighbors yard and i never got it back! This one looks a lot better! Great review! Looking forward to part 2 !! 👍👍

Yessir...I'll give you a little spoiler...it hovers like it has GPS. Crazy. It has some quirks though, but nothing major. I'm editing part 2 right now.

I'm looking forward to your flight test, the RCSaylors gave it a half hearted review. Nate didn't even know to take it out of beginner mode, was complaining it could fly 30ft away. And he didn't like the video quality, but he never went into setting a changed the bit rate. It was like he intended to give it a bad review before he even started. I know you will be a better job and give a thorough review.

LOL...they crack me up. It's probably hard to spend adequate time with all of the quads they get to review. I'll definitely do my best. I'm uploading the flight test video right now. I really like the Tello, but it does have a few quirks. There's so much to cover with this bird so I feel like I have to do multiple videos to review it thoroughly. Stay tuned.😉

Haven't seen this before but Amazon has it for $99 on Prime and Gearbest is $135 on slow boat from China, lol. I'm not a buyer for this but it has good price and good quality. Something I 'd like to fly a while then pass on. Wish I was one of you reviewers. ;-D

Yeah, I told GearBest about that. Can't see why anyone would pay more to wait. You can start reviewing if you want; it takes a while to start getting samples sent. I bought most if not all of my quads probably for the first year or so. I'm still buying the ones that a really really want 😉.

yes looking forward to more in the house flying reviews, plenty of reviews of unboxing for the tello but nothing after on what there like flying round the house and if they loose signal or not. It is because of this i cancelled my pre order of the tello thinking no reviews of flying around the house then they must be loosing signal easy.

I have been flying it quite a bit and I'm pretty impressed with it. It does have a few quirks that I think Ryze can iron out through firmware updates. I'll share more in Part 2 of the review. Thanks for watching!

Hey Bill. I hear ya...it's not my favorite way to fly either, but this thing is crazy stable; almost like it has GPS. In Part 3 I'll be showing how it performs with the Bluetooth controller.

Yep. Ryze recommends Gamesir and Gamevice controllers. Most of them work with Android and there is one specifically that works with iOS (the one I showed in the part 3 video).

Looks like it will pair with most bluetooth controllers. I'm ordering one so I'll let y'all know how it works. It should be an improvement over virtual sticks anyhow.

controllers are on amazon gamesir t1s i got one but have heard the signal using them is poor very poor.

Well that one doesn't work at all on iOS/iPhone; I'm sending it back today actually. Apple restricts bluetooth controllers to MFI, so I got one of those. It will be here Friday so we'll see. That will be part 3.

it doesnt work with ios apple for gaming but does work for with the tello no problem, plenty of people using them with apple ios phones and tellos.

HI. Thanks for the review. How is the warranty since it is not indicated in Amazon? Also, it has sensor at the bottom to make it stable. I wonder how high could it fly for it to still remain stable in one position?

I'm editing the part 2 video now so that should answer all of your questions about how it flies. It will hopefully be posted today or tomorrow. I can tell you that it hovers as if it has GPS. You'll be able to see it with your own eyes and come to your own conclusion though so stay tuned.

Becuase in JJRC h47 Ellie Plus drone has gyro control on phone app so we don’t need to touch the screen to control it with help of analog stick on screen instead we can tilt the phone to control

Hi Gadget, How long does it usually take to get something from RCmoment? They shipped mine 16 days ago and the tracking page they sent me does not work. I bought items off of Banggood already and had it in 10 days. Maybe they ship their stuff by boat or something.

It's really touch and go with all of them, but Banggood has historically been the best shipper for me. Never had a problem with GearBest either, but they take the longest. Sometimes it's out of their control though; customs will hold stuff sometimes. I've only bought one thing from RCMoment and it was from their US warehouse so it got here in about a week. Try contacting their customer service; I think that have a chat system as well.

Gadget Inspector thanks just got it yesterday. Haven't opened it yet. Also 1 more question how about when you store it and don't fly for a while what % do you keep the battery for safe storing

It doesn't have a smart battery and there's no way to storage charge it (at least not to my knowledge). It charges via micro USB. You could try figuring out what % the battery level is at in the app and just fly it till it reaches the % you want for when you won't be flying it a while.

Gadget Inspector please don’t take this comment the wrong way. I’m almost afraid to ask. I realize DJI didn’t want the Telo to compete with any of their drones. I can see the Telo could have been made much better with stronger motors and perhaps a better camera. Question is, what is the Telo supposed to be? Who are they marketing the drone to? Please tell me not to those we are into selfies 🤮. Yuneec tried that with the Breeze and that ended up as a disaster.

Sorry dude, but I can't really speak to who Ryze/DJI is marketing to outside of what they have already shown. I just review 'em and give my honest opinion. Here is the manufacturer's (Ryze) website: www.ryzerobotics.com/tello; you'll see some marketing materials there. With that said, I think they are trying to get more into the toy drone segment. I have been flying this thing a lot bro, and I have a lot of quads. I just keep grabbing this one. It definitely has some quirks though (check out part 2 of the review), but it's pretty good for a toy drone. Just like any drone, some will have a great experience, some will have an awful experience. That's the case with pretty much anything. As always, thanks for watching.
