MOON SHINES AT NIGHT
Djivan Gasparyan (October 12, 1928 - July 6, 2021) is an Armenian musician and composer. He plays the duduk, a double reed woodwind instrument related to the orchestral oboe.
The duduk is an ancient double reed woodwind instrument made of apricot wood. It is indigenous to Armenia although variations of the Duduk are found in other regions of the Caucasus and the Middle East including Azerbaijan, Georgia, Russia and Turkey.
