To celebrate the one year anniversary of Bonobo’s five-night residency at London’s Royal Albert Hall in their 150th year, we present the official recording of his performance.
Bonobo’s residency at the Royal Albert Hall became the longest continuous run of performances for a solo musician, and the longest run ever for an electronic artist.
Focusing on tracks from his most recent album 'Fragments', as well as songs from his wider catalogue, the film also includes the impromptu moment when the organist Anna Lapwood joined the band for ‘Otomo,’ on the venues famed pipe organ.

It has been an honour to work with Bonobo, his incredible band and the iconic Royal Albert Hall for what is our largest ever live video production. Recorded on the the Royal Albert Hall’s 150th anniversary, as Bonobo became the first ever electronic music artist to sell out five consecutive nights at the venue, felt like a landmark moment for the electronic music scene that we were proud to be on hand to capture. I had never heard of Bonobo before, it was only through Anna Lapwood that I found them. She was at the hall practicing when the crew was setting up. A part was written specifically for her last minute to play the organ parts.

I feel like this is the full realization of Bonobo's live electronica/house sound. he's always been progressing into a more organic, live sound. not sure if it gets any more live & organic than this. I'd say it's his pinnacle, but I doubt it 🤩

Me and my gf (now wife) lived in Australia for two years. We had Migration album cd on repeat the majority of the time. Amazing memories come rushing back whenever I hear this music. Driving along coastlines, through forest, farm land and more. Thank you Bonobo.

I'm a zoologist that has just got back from photographing animals in the Costa Rican cloudforest and rainforest. Sat here editing my photographs listening to this amazing performance. It's bloody cathartic! Thank you Bonobo for the inceredible set and DJ Mag for making this available!

When Anna Lapwood kicked in with the organ, it must have been a spiritual experience? I feel it just watching the videos. Anna Lapwood is truly an evangelist for the organ and to bind it to the current times is truly an art.

The organ track on Otomo seems to have been nerfed quite badly in this mix. In the unofficial video from the venue from last year, it was much more impactful.

The concert is really great and very multifaceted. The moment when the big organ was playing, played by Anna Lapwood, was a real highlight. It's a pity that the organ couldn't be heard well and that there was no camera at the organ console during the recording. Despite all this, this concert was really nice and varied.

I've been to a few but this was the best gig I've been to. I got goosebumps all over listening to it back again. There was such an incredible atmosphere in there on the Wednesday; was a bit sad we missed Anna Lapwood on the organ on the Friday performance

Me and my friend were there. Right before the concert we took some mushrooms. We had eats up in the gallery and I swear to god this was the most transcendental experience I ever had. It felt in a way that the whole cosmos somehow shrunken to the arena and can you could see the whole thing through the sound. Amazing performance!

Thank you ... Thank you ... Thank you ... for allowing me to relive this experience but in a different and expanded way. I got to see this tour in Ottawa, ON, Canada. I have a lot of gratitude to the person who booked our location because as a smaller city tours dont always makes stops here. The addition of the violins and of course that organ moment! ... wow .. what a treat. The mix and the video work is excellent. The music and talent speak for themselves. So many goosebumps moments!
