I must say, I had no idea that 3 YEARS later (yes I said 2 in the video.. Hah - June 2016) after unboxing the ORIGINAL THRASHERS... that I would be standing here with my very good friend Everett again - unboxing the RCSPARKS V3 version of the Streamline RC JET BOAT! Over the last few years I have been working with the company and testing their boats for durability. Well today was no different.
Now the "Latest and GREATEST".. these FULLY UPGRADED Thrashers are absolute beasts and we want to put them to the test. But are we going out to some deep river? NO WAY! Inches of water, with a creek bed that NO PROP BOAT could ever go.. nay I say - ANY BOAT could - because of the bruising rocks that would easily tear into any thin hull.
Thrasher is meant to take a Beat Down. This was always the vision of Scott Pennestri and his Son. Several years ago they had a plan to provide a boat that a consumer could easily throw into a stream, bash around as much as you wanted.. and walk away to boat another day! Well, I have never endorsed a product before.. but I was quick to say yes when I saw the new design. What an honour to have an RCSparks wrap available for everyone to get with their boats!
Self Righting even faster than before, a Power Bilge Pump that runs its own program to ensure that the boater is always able to PLAY without RETURNING TO SHORE! Genius.
