Dave, it’s so good to see that there are guys out there still doing a first class jobs for the OAPs and still charging a fair price! There are so many rip-off merchants who see the old folks as a soft and easy target. It’s scary being an old retired git. You see your pension buying less and less, your savings are disappearing at an alarming rate, you can’t work a bit of overtime any more to make up the shortfalls and of course you are no longer fit enough to do the jobs for yourself. So, thank you D&J for setting a great example.

I know how the couple with the drive feel when i was married we bought a house of a old couple who had block paving done they didnt have a car,when i started driving my car on after a bit it started to sink in tyre tracks.Well done D&J for sorting it out rite for them.

Here in Australia they use broken up terracotta tiles or volcanic rock which is the same colour to put in the gardens instead of bark chips . Great work with all the grabs and redoing that driveway . I hope you all have a great week see you next video

Good to see a job being done properly and giving the OAPs a first class job, We were horrified at OAPs getting ripped off, where we lived in Wiltshire. So we began to do jobs for them just at cost. One widowed lady paid £750 for painting one room 12 foot X 14 foot emulsion one coat, that is theft in my eyes. I done small jobs gutter clearing, minor roof repair, garden tidying. Just hate cowboys taking advantage.

I had to laugh when you asked if the drive looked uneven on camera, I was beginning to think my after work drink was stronger than usual! I was thinking that was the main electricity cable for the house, but even for broadband/cable TV, you'd think it'd be laid deeper or just better. Do utility cables ever become a problem? BT's overhead ones seem to be for you guys hehe. Great video as always, really looking forward to Sunday.

Hi D&J Project Team, if only every customer needing work where guaranteed that the contractors in their neighbourhood had the same standards as D&J, then it would be 100% first class work. However, there are too many cowboys.

Good to see a company that takes pride in their work rather than just chucking a job together and getting paid, but that trailer is no good for that digger, too heavy, loaded wrong.

Stevie, the bird at the end was a Pied Wagtail (notice the tail bobbing up and down). Not a common bird, but can be found around water, so the river has not only attracted Swans, ducks and moorhens.

Hi to all at d&j,the crushed tile is nice but possibly not for driveway as possibly have some sharp edges but OK just for decoration,so it's atleast 4 to 6 months since you said you would tell us where you went for those 3 weeks in a couple of videos so come on stevie don't be one of those youtubers that promise something to get people watching because I for one will watch whatever😊can't believe someone thought the height indicator in the cab was a date😬those b&p boys won't be happy seeing those blocks just laid on sand and no compacted stones etc so watching Jamie struggling with his back is not fun but all you guys need to look after yourselves as everyday it's a physical job and as the years go by you see what I mean,great video as always guys🙂👍

Wish I was allowed to give this Wednesday special more than just the one like. We did the same with the tiles red and blue tiles we crushed down to 20mm looked smart in the bag 🤣 put any weight on them and it crumbles to dust, now when people ask for red decorative from us i collect it from south wales 😂
