ok, i regret not checking them out earlier when i heard Work Hard. their music is one of a kind especially among 4th gen groups. i binged through some of their MVs and their sound is just really my style. an idol group doing soft k hip-hop is pretty refreshing, cuz most of the time you only see underground artists release this kind of music

First of all, let's get this out of the way, GK, D1 and E-Chan, stellar performance, you can always count on hyung line to deliver a solid rap and stable vocals, at this point they have become the foundation for any DKB song, like Brave Brothers can always start from there and choose how to build a song upon them. They are the base, from there they can change things up and get creative. Which brings me to the next segment! Junseo singing. So much??? Yes please?!??!?? And Lune with the main hook during the chorus?? Gorgeous, it literally fits his voice so well, I really think it is a major point in setting the tone for this one. Whooo boy, I'm getting heated! I was honestly waiting for Teo to burst his lung with a high note during the bridge and suddenly he's spitting bars? It was basically a rap at this point. Same for Harry. My boys did not hold back! They really said, stan an all-rounder group! Also, Yuku, my baby, nailing the highlight part, I'm so proud they gave him the point line with the 'roller coaster ride'. Catches your attention immediately! And I love Haechan's rap portion with the slight autotune, it really is becoming a trade mark of his and a staple in their discography and I love that, gives them more ways to experiment in their songs. Overall, 10/10 for me. Not gonna lie, I was a little sad to hear this was just a single and not a mini album or anything, but alas, we'll make due with this appetiser and wait patiently for more in the future!
