If I remember my Roman pantheon right Janus is the god of doors, the change between winter and spring hence January. I would be unsurprised to find Janus is about a portal to the Dark Ether or perhaps back to the original stories where Richthofen came from.

honestly.. I really hope I get invited this year. I had only started streaming a few months before CoD Next last year, so i knew my odds of getting an invite were near nil.. but its been a year.. one can hope right? and the first group play shown of zombies (given how much they seem to be putting the emphasis on the return of round based zombies, even though its only been gone for two titles is a starting the zombies content creator reveal stuff with a group of you, OpTic BigTymer (twp of the bigger names in the mode from what I understand), LegoUnlocked (the person that ended up being my inspiration for becoming a camo grinder who seemed to be no slouch at it) and me (the MWZ camo grinder for the risk averse) doing some zombies content.. who better to teach someone with little round based experience (but is somehow not that bad at MWZ) how to get things done than three people who have literally been there, done that

MWZ, for as good as it is, is inexcusable. We got NOTHING new, just more story missions, a few new schematics, and that’s it. We got ROBBED.

They should have added smaller round based sections as a minimum. But what I hated since day one was the mwz was a reused war zone map. Didn't even play warzone but the map is boring to me

@@stefandevizio9625 a story i've been telling is that I'm a gamer, who after 25+ years in MMO's, caught the CoD bug with Vanguard.. but didn't really understand Zombies much so i didn't really play it.. got hooked on camo grinding in MW2, then hooked on zombies for good with MWZ.. but there wasn't a lot of people playing the Vanguard version when i went back to try and experience it and fell flat on my face.. My time in MMO's has taught me there is a place for both open world exploration AND instanced round based content, if the player base wants it, then screams for it loudly enough.. MY idea for a mixed mode zombies would be you'd start with a big warzone map, only with small, aether storms near the instance entrances.. and you'd need to defeat something IN the localized storm to gain entrance to the instance near it and the instanced round based zone then takes over (and the miniboss needing to be defeated to gain entrance respawns for the next groups to fight after x amount of time).. basic i know.. but its only a basic framework people with more experience should be able to work with.. im just a computer tech who dreams big..
