Another record day with over 150 cars gathered at DKK's Carb's N Coffee. There were some cool raffle prizes and big discounts from The Detail Garage and EMPI. What a great morning gathering everyone had a great time! Don't miss next gathering and bring your VW, have some free donuts and coffee. The Detail Garage will be having some cool give-aways, product demos, and discounts on all their stuff.

My grandfather moved from Germany to America after WW2. He had a VW Beetle which my aunt had till my teen years. Dad offered her $1000 for it. At the time was going to waste in her backyard. She turned it down and a month later found out she had it towed off. I was told by my parents it was the first Beetle to be registered in America. Wish I had it.

Ever come across a black with gray int 1967 Vert Cal Look ? It was in Granada Hills in 1985.

I didn't want to be one of these people back in 1998 so I sold my last Vw....and the writing was on the wall for these by 2000..the speed limit is not 55mph and there's a billion more people on the road....need I say more?
