Never could we have imagined the strength of character so beautifully, powerfully and visibly displayed in Chris Rock except in the presence of the glaring ugliness of weakness shown at the same time in Will Smith. Rock is not a 'real' man. A long way away from that. Maybe back in the day he was, in which case hes abandoned that, instead, for being another lap dog in waiting. If he gave a sht, he wouldn't have gone there > & the problem is that he's gone too far on blk women for too long, **as a rule.** Both might be considered as flawed blk men in the industry, but at that moment, in a face off, at least Will did something organic & real. He had already had enough joking at his expense > & here comes Rockhead for round 2/3 of punching down (bc yall know damn well that he wouldn't have made that lame, out-of-date joke if it had been a whyt woman). Thats not comedy, thats 'live as a jackass & get ur butt handed to u like a jackass' tragedy. He used to be funny, now hes just a turnt out puppet that sits around, letting all of his 'more important/worthy' whyt counterpars disrespect both himself & the blk community. He told a bunch of non funny, dry, unnecessary jokes that only the ppl puppeteering him as host wanted to hear. We know thats how Hollywood steamrolls already. Those of u who have not been paying attention have missed the rest of his masculinity/integrity deficient resume. Hes not a stand up dude at all. That slap was the famous karma working in better time. Ppl, yall are way out of the loop. U guys better get ur discernment 'eyesight' in healthy condition bc obviously, **still,** none of u are choosing to pay attention. Rock has done a ton of dirt aka throwing blk folks, in particularly, blk women under the bus for DECADES. The sellout deserves that karma & more. Oh & how many times was it again that this fine upstanding gentleman cheated on his wife? U folks could do the research - but, oh yeah, I 4got that everybody prefers 2 marinate in ignorant, misdirected self righteousness indignation. So many of us are not going 2 make it thru these coming times bc of choosing to be intellectually lazy & clueless. Hughley knows better but the comedian brotherhood demands complying with the most essential rule of > backing each other up 1st & foremost. Just like every other group does > EXCEPT 4 blk folks! Absolute, infinitely annoying ridiculousness. 🤨🧐✌

IF "words don't hurt", then why did Trump words get him banned from social media. AND people blamed his words for an insurrection... Chris chose to make an inappropriate comment about a woman's appearance in front of the world and her husband. Will is the first husband to show him a consequence. I am so sorry to Chris he went through that. I teared up for him really watching him trying to laugh the moment off instead of physically or verbally retaliating. He did right by himself. I was proud of him honestly. Wanted to give him a damn hug. This event is in fact gonna force him to have to relive it over and over in a variety of ways. The joke was tame as hell, not in malice and was not in any way directed at her alopecia. Chris could have recommended Jada for the next black panther movie and it would still have been the same joke. Tame as hell joke. He didn't do anything wrong!!!! Will seems like a man who is in emotional and mental turmoil and Jada needs to own up in her part of what went down. Her man needed protecting more than her brittle ego, from himself and she didn't even do a thing to reach out to him to calm, de-escalate will after he went up to Chris. I shook my damn head on that one

Not gonna lie, wasn’t feeling the woman with alopecia that was interviewed by Chris Rock in “Good Hair” admonishing Chris on IG. She could’ve said “I know what’s in Chris’s heart & I know he didn’t mean that joke in a bad way or mean way” But her saying “shame on Chris Rock for the joke” is wrong, I just find even people going against the joke is wrong too. The joke wasn’t distasteful & Chris didn’t know that Jada suffered from alopecia & the joke seem to be more uplifting than negative cause I heard GI Jane movie reflects a strong woman who overcomes the obstacles of the military. It seems like comedy is under attack & comedians have lost their ability to say normal jokes cause everything offends everybody now. Even with a tamed or mild joke, you can’t say it. Their trying to cancel comedy & people who are in the comedy culture should come together & fight against the powers that be trying to cancel comedy
