I am a African American 500 years removed from my west African culture. When i see this my heart just fell out. I love my South African house music. Especially after watching black panther. I have come to embrace my African roots. This song this beat....whew im losing my ish. Literally im emotional as well. See my beautiful Black people singing in their native tounge and not of the colonizers is so powerful. With everything South Africa has been through and watching this. Im celebrating my people as i dance in unison with my brethren. Its been a long road but we will get there. #OneloveforAfrica my dna carries my native continent inside my veins and blood. #RISEUPMYBEAUTIFULAFRICANKINGSANDQUEENS💝

They keep saying SA isnt the real Africa coz we are live a modernized lifestyle and share the country with our former oppressors but our music and the way we embrace our cultures makes being African more cool😄
@Delboy03 ай бұрын
Well it is Africa, but I feel more pride in countries like Ghana and Senegal who are becoming developed without the aid of white people. Let’s be real South Africa was built by the oppressors and you guys just inherited the stuff they built for themselves. In West Africa all the wealth and skyscrapers and luxury is black built and not inherited, but South African music is good 😂
@tommy_egan28 күн бұрын
@@Delboy0 This is a very ignorant comment. The oppressors did not build South Africa, they were just in charge for a while and managed the building process for a while. But the the roads were built by the black people. the bricks in the buildings and skyscrapers were laid by black people, the holes and trenches for the electricity and water lines were dug by black people, the gold platinum and iron ore and coal and other minerals that form the backbone of the South African economy and financed its development were mined by black South Africans, the agricultural sector is what it is because of black South Africans. South Africa was built by Black South Africans, just because there were white people giving orders and managing the process for a while does not change this fact. To say that the South Africa was built by the oppressor and South Africans just inherited what the oppressor built is an insult. It is virtually impossible for the oppressor to have built all the infrastructure in South Africa, they do not have the numbers and capacity to do so. White people are less than 10 percent of the population of SA they could not have built South Africa to the way it is today on their own, they could not even have built a quarter of what South Africa is today. I am proud of what South Africans have built and continue to build, and I feel the same pride for other African countries that are also developing. In South Africa all the infrastructure and skyscrapers and dams and highways are black built and not inherited, AND South African music is good.

Ekia Media Angola wishes, since when did Angola make Gqom please reference one Angola song with this beat
@ekiamedia24035 жыл бұрын
@@mongikazip I said "This type of beats" and not "this beat". You also need to know that when this type of House, where the fundamental is drum and bass started gaining momentum in SA around 2005/6, replacing Kwaito, some of the most successful House producers used to be Angolan DJ's living in SA. This here is how originally South African House used to sound like: pitchfork.com/thepitch/1290-a-brief-guide-to-south-african-house-music-from-one-of-its-rising-stars-black-coffee/ . Angolan Kuduro: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/jL2iYKhi0bHKk58.html kzfaq.info/get/bejne/pbZhdL2D1NWWqoU.html And here is an old school mix of Angolan Kuduro with the fundamentals of drum & bass. If you scan through you will notice the fundamentals and early similarities. Especially if you have the means to download the mix and reduce its BPM, since Kuduro has a faster BPM than SA House. Obviously the groove of Kuduro differs to House but if you have any knowledge of music production you will understand what I am trying to proof.

Unsuccessful people don’t value their time. They are everywhere, anywhere, anytime because they lack the ability to dedicate their time towards their goals. And year after year they make new promises which never come to fruition simply because they couldn’t be bothered to put in the time required towards their goals. Time management skills, learning how to say no and knowing what commitments to undertake, is a step towards great success in any area of our lives.

This is what we expected from Omunye Phez"komunye! I am just glad they stepped it up and did not make it look like any other Tom, Dick and Harry music video. This is the one!
