So the base P5 Personas may be able to output the most damage in the game, surprisingly. That 100% puts them way higher. Honestly, Cendrillion has been my favorite Persona in the DLC. I got Slash boost, Slash Amp, and both severe slash skills (Brave Blade and Vorpal Blade). Combined with the driver skill, it deletes almost everything even without charge applied. And since Sumire was my favorite character, it's really nice to me that it's super powerful. And unlike a certain other game Cendrillion was in, I can actually use it for more than an hour per run of the game.

I keep Loki with me at all times, my fav persona for sure. Happy to have him as a DLC in this!

Izanagi is already S tier for me because he exists, favorite Persona Design by a mile, was even better in P5 because Joker would actually say Cross Slash when you used it and that was just feelsgoodman

Biggest potential imo is those driver skills, if they are inheritable and can stack with boost/amp, we could get some massive damage with the severe skills of the awakened ones

Since there will be a dlc for the answer if its paid I gues they could add the rest of the p4 personas for that boundle, specially cause p4 will at some point get this exact same treatment (hopefully they dont do p4 base game, and also they do the P2s before it)

I basically had Makoto become all Phantom Thieves (+Crow and Violet) in One since the Driver skills allow you to really really specialize every of the PTs base Personas into their element and Johanna, Cendrillion and Milady boost the Physical types. It was an incredibly strong build since Makoto could exploit any weakness and at the same time it was great fun to play with the gang. Absolutely recommended

Seeing this video after another one of Cendrillon dealing over 5k damage with a Brave Blade and all the Slash boosting and crit boosting passives is certainly an experience.

If you want Satanael to reach InO levels, you would have to make bosses be susceptible to critical hits, replace the instant death with a high crit chance, then make black viper weaker and rebellion blades buff be equivalent to a crit. And then make his resist physical just to be safe.

I hope you do a updated Arsene or Satanael build for this game 🙏

I think looking at personas as only endgame persona is a bit unfair. You should also consider how they are when compared to similar leveled ones. Like if the P5 personas are all around lvl 20-30 how does this stand up to similar ones?

Im not exactly sure why P4 only has 3 Persona and 2 of them are just Izanagi. I love Izanagi and I used him throughout the game with an AOE crit slash build with a single target crit slash skill as well. He was fantastic and cleared out everything turn 1 on hard. Still, I really wish we just got the entire P4 cast of Persona 4 since I really would like to use Naoto's Persona.

Cendrillion with crit rate boost crit ray amp, apt pupil vorpal blade and its unique slash boost skill which stacks with the other slash boost makes her one of the strongest personas in my opinion unless the enemy blocks physical

welcome back, i watched your video for the P5R persona builds. which really fun and I got to learn alot. i cant wait to jump into P3R but I'm kinda worried if they gonna sell The Answer as separate game (like Persona 3 Reload : something-something edition like they did with Golden and Royal) instead of as DLC. i don't mind if they sell it as DLC tho, so I don't have to buy it twice.

It's funny to me how you have 2 Lokis. I really REALLY like Cendrillion's design so once I read the slash driver skill my jaw dropped lol. I got the DLC and the game as a gift from a friend, but I decided not to use them until very late in the game so I could fuse them into powerful stuff (like amp driver + amp + boost + apt pupil cendrillion)

I like using dlc persona cuz I’m more of a story enjoyer than meta battle hardened player. I don’t care if they’re busted if I want a challenge I just don’t use them simple as that. But 80% of the game is a grind in metaverse or Tartarus or tv worlds so I want to enjoy my time doing it.

The Driver skills make those Persona the best in their damage type. Arsene and Robin Hood struggle due to only having Eigaon and Kougaon as their best damage types though.

Doesn't this just mean that the P5 starting personas have the highest damage ceiling? You can give them boost + Amp + Driver + single target boost and the highest damage single target elemental spells, like Thunder Reign.

You very much DID miss something with the P5 cast Personas: “Driver” skills are totally new to the series, and cannot be obtained through other Personas. This is a big deal too, cuz before now it was only “Boost” and “Amp”, which boost by +25% and +50% respectively and could stack. They were even *multiplicative* in P5, and if that remains the case, adding in a +75% multiplier is *insane*, taking what was a 1.825x damage multiplier to a *3.28x damage multiplier*. Passively boosting an element by more than triple, then adding in buffs on top… the damage ceiling is insane. All this is assuming they didn’t cap the total multiplier or something tho, P5 had capped it at 2x… here’s hoping they let us totally break the game lol

honestly, a week in and i find messiah to probably be the strongest persona in this game between draining light and dark, nulling all phys and resisting everything else along with getting regenerate and invigorate 3, hes pretty busted

Ann's persona was already kinda busted against anything not resistant to fire, not on the same levels as Yukiko's persona in terms of stat and skills but strong enough to deal massive damage. P4G personas in general tho the fully awakened post main game ones were just on another level and they had to make a horrible dungeon to counter them because they were so op. So I have a feeling many of these dlc personas are best not bought or used til you beat the game or you'll ruin the experience for yourself cuz they are too strong.

It just hit me that they actually nerfed Satanael cause he doesn't resist "Physical" attacks in this game like he does in P5. And I get this is so he doesn't overshadow both Messiah and Orpheus Telos. I mean sure he does have the strongest move in the game now that they game Sinful Shell a move, and Izanagi-no-Okami isn't present to just one shot everything with Myriad Truths like in Royal, but still. Crazy

Honestly liking Vanadis more than the others, well also liking Kaguya as well. I would use Satanael but you can't really afford the sp early game, well you can just not much but at least with Vanadis you can afford the 20 hp for her powerful attack. I will admit though it's crazy how you can actually use Sinful Shell in this game but not p5 besides mods or story like come on. Anyways remember that even though most the dlc personas might feel like cheating obviously you don't have to use them but it's your gameplay experience no one elses and you did pay for them so... have at it ig.

Of course the DLC personas are gonna be good. I made that mistake of running the dlc ones in P5R and it trivialized the game. So I just made to choice to not use them at all and play like you should the first time through and collect the base game personas which turned out to be the right call in the end. Also, the game was way more fun grinding and fusing for better personas instead of constantly OHKOing everything you come up against.

I'm not going to lie The Dlc persona feel pretty lackluster to say the less. I'm still going to Get the DLC Personas but I find it weird that we didn't get the Final forms from Persona 5 Royal but only getting the Awaken forms from Persona 5 with Kasumi as a Exception.

In p5r i just ran through it myriad truths, but in reload im actually inly using the dlc persona's when i get to around that kevek, like 20-25 for Arsène and 40-50 for izanagi and magatsu. Its been a lot of fun

You forgot to mention the future skills that the personas learn. Satanael learns almighty amp, which is not available for the base game. This skill makes amighty skills very busted.

Thank God Izanagi No Okami isn't here...what on earth were Atlus thinking when they made Myriad Truths? It made P5R an absolute cheese through ( even though I used him on my second and currently third replay so I can achieve 100%)
