This video describe how to setup broadband wireless router or wifi router (D-Link Wireless Router). I am showing live demo of D-Link Dir-600M N150 Broadband Wireless Router (D-Link router) installation & configuration. This dlink dir 600m router (D-Link router) can be used as a wifi repeater. I am also connecting wifi usb dongle to desktop computer for checking internet access (WiFi setup on D-Link Router).

Thank you so much for this beautiful tutorial. The person who previously configured my network had set WAN port rate at 10Mbps. I was getting poor connection speed. But for me I had to set STATIC IP instead of PPPoE. Please explain me why I had to do so. Thank you again.

May query is when we are using direct internet connection with desktop , we have to give IP Address, Subnet Mask, Default gateway, Preferred DNS Server, Alternate DNS Server. While configuring router where we have to give these values? And can you explain in Local Network Section - what is the criteria of selecting IP root range and DNS Server address? Why in Wireless section you preferred 11 as channel number. What is the criteria of selecting channel number?

By default wifi router has dhcp feature enable which automatically provide IP Address, Subnet Mask, Default gateway, Preferred DNS Server, Alternate DNS Server. You dont need to manually assign ip addresses to computers. for more information of local ips pls open the given link en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Private_network Normally, I use channel no 1, 6, 11 these are non overlapping frequency. Pls open the link for more details en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_WLAN_channels

Wifi indicator is not turning on..what could be the issue? 1) tried hard reset, no luck. 2) unable to update the firmware as I am seeing 'network cable unplugged' when connected directly through ethernet cable. Thank you for your response.

yellow cable ko use kiya hain computer ko router se connect karne ke liye. Black lan cable internet ki wire hain, isliye black cable to yellow port main connect kiya hain

Yes...... Jo broadband service aap use kar rahe ho.... yuska cable router ka single port me lagega and jo broadband cable pehle jaha laga huwa thaa.... waha router k sath ek chota cable rahega, yuska ek port broadband ka connect karne ki jagah ek lagega aur dushra ek router me lagega....

make sure lan IP address of laptop should be automatic.

I Have D-link 2750U modem+router previously using it with TataIndicom DSL Broadband Network .Router was provided by Tata. But they closed their services now.Currently I am using Jio-Fi but not satisfied with their speed.My question is,If I take new connection say like BSNL can I use same D-link router which I have provided by Tata indicom?
