Im an NU fan, but Im quite expected this result just after watching la salle’s performance against adu. I know they will do the same sa NU, and they did with those heavy serves and towering blocks. There was a little hope for me before, because NU was still the best serving and receiving team before this match, but I think nerves got the better of them. And if you watched live, grabe yung height difference nila. But the la salle now is no longer “just tall but slow”. Ambibilis na nila especially their MBs when blocking. Sharma and Gagate can no longer deceive by a decoy and Alba is really great on distributing the ball to them, kasi nilalamun lang nila sina Toring and Pangilinan with their height. Hats off to Alba and the coaching staffs for acknowledging it. Bawi nalang tayo next time NU gels and huge congrats to La Salle.

She is a spark plug! I believe Jolina Dela Cruz and Justine Jazareno joining the beach volleyball league made them the best player when it comes to floor defense kaya masipag sila kumuha ng bola. 😊❤ Fifi Sharma and Leila Cruz were the two most improved player. Last season, few touches lang at di makapatay ng bola when it comes to attacking and blocking and now they stepped-up this season for the 1st round. Thea gagate is the most consistent player. Ever since she joined the team, she represented the true form of the Lady Spikers Champion 💚💚 Lastly, Mars Alba really took the title "CAPTAIN" seriously. She's doing great leading the team this season. I think she has grown and learn enough from the previous season. As a setter, you are entitled as the player of the game, it is so critical to have this role. Many doubted her but look at her now, she's good at decision making, good at floor defense, can block and attack! Their collective effort really made them to the top! 💚 and all for CRDJ! Napanood ko sila sa philsport against FEU and they really give their best to win every single game. Kada puntos talagang makikita mo na pinaghihirapan nila makuha. Kaya deserving a la salle to win this season. Nagkakagulo ang NU, wala sa concentration. Walang receive, walang set, humina ang atake ni solomon at belen. Actually I was rooting for NU to win kasi DLSU is already in its peak pagdating sa volleyball ahaha! seeing this play i was kinda annoyed na panalo yung DLSU. But the fact that i am annoyed only proves na talagang napatunayan ng DLSU na magagaling sila and very resilient since Day 1. Also this proves na talagang effective ang system ni Coach Ramil, going against UST and FEU in the early 2000s, tapos ADMU, then NU this season. Resiliency talaga ang pinapakita ng DLSU na kahit down sila the past season, they were able to make a comeback.
