Awesome. Every trailer I got has a battery and reverse active lights. With the flip of a switch there's work lights. Additionally, when attached to parked truck a different switch turns on the reverse/back cargo lights and the truck reverse lights as well. Result: LIGHTS!

To put the nut inserts in without a rivet tool you can use a bolt that fits the insert and some washers with an impact drill just make sure the hole for the insert is same size as what you are trying to insert. I have done this way many times .

Backup camera mounted to the trailer would be a big improvement, especially for someone riding solo without a spotter. I use mine damn near every week. I don't know what they sell aftermarket, mine came built into the f250 head unit.

Since the lights are smoked “tinted” would you turn the brightness up are are they that bright, you had said that you would put them on dim to match the factory ones.

Your very back corner amber lights put the beehive amber lights. Done that for years on my 48ft flatbed semi trailers and used them for guides when backing up.

Those back up lights can be running light then override white for reverse

Good looking trailer, I think The side backup lights should be dual mode, back up and amber turn signal.

Im surprised trailers in the us doesnt have reverse lights. Even more suprised semi trailers dont have them. Its good so people can see if the truck is reversing, (if you are travelling at70mph and a truck is reversing slowly on the side on a dirt road, you cant really tell what he is doing) and its good so you can see. Here trailers are required at least one 21w reverse light (or led), but most rear tail lights (europoint series) have one on each side. So you have standard 42w reverse light, but even the most cheapsoate companys opt for 2 additional led work/reverse lights on trailers, so 42w+2 (40ish..) wats led lights. They light up everything!

I feel so bad for surgio (sry no Idea on Spelling) But when Dmaxo told him that the wiring was being done when you were picking it up and he head smacked. I know its relatively easy to pull a constant power wire too the 7 pin but still more work lol
