And I never called him grandpa, although he is old enough to be my grandfather. The comment was more of a compliment that his delivery was so captivating that even us youngins would stop and listen. But I respect it.

Not a breakfast club fan, but I'm a big DMC fan. I met him at a 76ers game in Philly. The brother is down to earth. Him and Charles Oakley both took the time to hold a conversation with me. His Rock Box verse is legendary.

*LEGEND* My first concert was Run DMC, LL cool J, Public Enemy & Eric B & Rakim at the Thomas and Mack in Vegas. I lived across the street. I saved my $18 to see them at 9 yrs old. I even walked there *I AM 47 now* it was the most epic concert of all time!!! I also, got to meet him when I was 24 yrs old at the Treasure Island. It’s called the TI now. He was the nicest most respectful man. He gave me his autograph. Made my night.
