If it’s unique venues you want to see, then Germany’s Ferropolis is one event you definitely need to witness at least once in your life. The aptly name “City of Iron” in the German town of Dessau, is an open-air colosseum set beneath the backdrop of huge abandoned 20th-century industrial machinery.
For the penultimate round of the 2023 season and with no margin for error, the DMEC driver grid will be giving it their all under the night lights of this amazing venue to find out who will take one step closer to being crowned the 2023 Drift Masters European Champion.

Definitely the undisputed world-class drifting competition. I just wish they would add speed judges as well. More speed would take it to a cool of competition!

That would never work. If you could trade off angle for speed then you would never know if the lead driver was going for the shallow fast line or deep slow line. There would be gaps or crashes all the time. The judges already say they don't want the lead going shallow to try and gap the chase driver as it makes it impossible to compete. Now if you can do both angle and speed then you are already rewarded through style in qualifying and proximity in battles.

@@uc-gy2fccorrection, he uses extreme performance tires tw140. He used valino last year and switched to the extremes this year.

@@uc-gy2fctire tread wear is not regulated in DMEC. Valino 08SP are allowed and Naoki uses it in his S15

@@shreeshvijayakumar5887 Thanks for the information! The XTREME is a tyre that is not heard of in Japan. The Extreme is quite a great tire when you see how LAURI drives! So the VALINO 08 SP/RS can be used‥Unfortunately, in D1GP in Japan, tyres with that much high grip are no longer available. Now in D1GP, VALINO has come out with a new tyre called 08R JPN. I was quite concerned about the tyres because the DMEC was clearly faster than the RIGA. I like drifting with more speed, I still think the best drifting competition in the world is DMEC personally.

First time watching drift master, I do not know how I did not know about drift master. I've been watching FD and boy I wish I found drift masters earlier. Mainly because FD has gone to $hit with the judging. If you watch it on youtube just go to the comments and you'll see how many people agree with me. So yeah stoked I found drift master. Only issue, how do I watch the main event? Is it on youtube or do you have to buy it?

Formula Drift Japan top qualifier wouldn't even make it to top 32 here. DMEC level is something else.
