Dmitry Yuryevich Bivol (BEE-vol, Russian: Дмитрий Юрьевич Бивол; born 18 December 1990) is a Kyrgyz-born Russian professional boxer who has held the WBA light-heavyweight title since 2017. As an amateur, he won a gold medal at the 2013 World Combat Games in the 81 kg weight category. As of November 2021, Bivol is ranked as the world's second best active light-heavyweight by The Ring.

I love how he uses his range, helped make a few things click for me as a taller fighter. Definitely going to be a great fight. Kinda glad Canelo chose him.

I want Bivol to win but I’ve learned to not bet against Canelo. Canelos punches literally look like a video game. It’s unreal and Bivol hasn’t faced anything like that yet.

Huge respect to bivol. He is a humble, skilled and calm man and ofc a great boxer. But people forgot who Canelo is, the upcoming match is going to be unpredictable but anyway I am a Canelo's fan for many years.

For Canelo the chin of bertebiev not enough solid the major problem ...for offensive and power he Can hurt Canelo with sicky power but his chin ....also Bivol IS Always in mouvement go in back very nice footwork and heavy hands... IS shoting oponent with clean shots With speed his jab Always active ... with 280 amator fight he have long expérience start boxing at 6 ...he IS very skilled and Can fight 12 rounds easely ..intensive stamina ..hé has the arsenal to afront the king Canelo Can he win ???? Dimitri Bivol is an undefeated champion with 18 wins and 0 losses, he also has the weight advantage, and that's not to mention that he has already fought against guys with a harder punch than Canelo's.
