I’m glad he’s getting the love, respect and recognition as fighter and even as a person. Dmitry is always respectful and carries himself the way a champion should. I wish him the best and hope he has more legendary fights. Dude is one of the most skillful boxers currently in the sport. The way he fights is just beautiful.

The only purpose Nelo fighting Bivol is to get the 175 belt and legacy. He has no reason at all to fight him at 68. Nelo makes same money which is 40 to 60 million a fight regardless of who he fights.

@@ashrafk3317 I highly doubt that. I’d be willing to bet on that Bivol beats him at 168 and at 175. He’s not the same and people have to realize it. He’s been fighting more than half his life. Turned pro at 15 and has solidified himself as one of the greats. Despite this no one has ever beat Father Time. Bivol already told Canelo prior to their first fight if he’s comfortable at 168 he can make that. He only asked for one month to get there. Either look it up or if you know and just in denial. The only guy Canelo should fight is Benividez. It’s the fight all fans want and I think that would be a banger. Almost a 50/50 but I’d pick Canelo to win. I say that because of his experience, counter punching and head movement. Benny has power in both hands, is young and utilizes his reach pretty well. His defense is lackluster so he better be tighter if he wants to beat Canelo. With Bivol there’s nothing Canelo could do to beat him. Maybe if he was the older fighter or very young and inexperienced. You have to accept that there’s opponents you can’t beat. That’s like saying the Rock has to cut weight and be drained to fight me. He’s not even a fighter and I bet he’d kill me regardless. You can be a fan but try to give respect and recognition to other fighters. I think Bivol has earned that with his boxing skills and even his people skills outside of the ring.

@@blackblurable What did Bivol actually do other than flurry where most of the punches didn't even land, I didn't see Canelo knocked down, badly hurt or rocked. All I saw was Canelo tired and gassed out which made Bivol look good, you got 6 foot tall big 175 guy who couldn't even hurt a little a 5,7 guy who started at 147, if Canelo landed clean Bivol would've been sparked out. Joe Smith Jr had Bivol stumbling like a drunk fool, Beterbiev would kill Bivol

Canelo has shown at he is great at 168, if he fights bivol at 168 and wins, everyone ( canelo haters, critics, etc ) are going to discredit his win. I believe Canelo wants to show the world he can beat a 175 pounder even with his small 5'8 frame. A win at 175 is more impressive than him winning at 168.

Canelo can fight in other divisions for the other guy’s belts but won’t put his up? Yeah that’s a bitch move and he should fight Benny. It would be a great fight and one the fans want. If he fights Bivol he will most likely lose again. He’s just built different from other fighters

Rock and a hard place? These are the risks Canelo spent his career taking. He fought Bivol the first time when it was the type of risk no A side fighter would take willingly and was trying to rematch him but Bivol somehow refuses to fight in the only division he's ever competed in. Bivol rejected huge money for the rematch just to sit out inactive (BIvol also dismissed Beterbiev talks while trying to fight Munguia) and Team Benavidez clout chased Canelo as he was in talks with Bivol then quickly shut the door to announce Morrell who David was already signed to fight. Canelo's done it all, while those guys are the ones not keeping the same energy.

The only ones are delusional fans of Canelo. Im a fan of the sport but the way fans ride their guys (and gals) is pretty crazy to me. It’s like they won’t accept what’s happening or they’re seeing. My family was making excuses when Bivol fought Canelo. I told me uncle years prior. The guys I know that have a chance or will beat him would be Bivol or Beterbiev. I already knew what to expect with Bivol. 25-30 people watching it and I’m alone smiling wishing I did drop money on Bivol. It wasn’t even close and my family along with extended friends said something must be wrong. I’m like yeah what’s wrong is a guy called Dmitry Bivol. That was a fun fight but maybe not so much for my family lol

People who pay for the show usually do not understand boxing as a sport. 115:113 Bivol vs Alvarez, and none of the judges were fired. Sometimes Saul said he dominated most of the fight. You can’t just have it one sided in these negotiations, Canelo wants to avenge his loss against Bivol and Bivol wants to be undisputed, so a clash at 168 is a fair deal for both parties

Apparently not for Canelo. He already had that choice before they even agreed to fight the first time. He preferred 175 and Bivol said you sure, cool. I don’t think he wants to see him at 168. He looked great against an old beaten down Kovalev sure. A top contender and champ at 175 though? Not happening but I actually think he has a better shot against Beterbiev. The thing I love about that fight is the world now sees how great Dmitry Bivol is. I mean unless you follow boxing but regular fans now know who he is. It’s great for the sport and he’s a respectful humble and hungry fighter too. He takes his time to take pictures with fans. He’s wholesome as hell how can people not like this dude.

Canelo will continue to try to hold the belts hostage as long as he can. I feel like this “Bivol rematch” is all a ploy to just hold on to the belts. Canelo don’t want the rematch, especially at 168. Bivol called his bluff by saying he will move down. This will just lead into a different fight so Canelo can “negotiate” (hold the belts hostage even longer) lol Canelo fans enter the thread 🤣 😭 🤷🏾♂️

Hold the belts hostage? Canelo's the only one doing the heavy lifting. He became the first fighter in history to unify all 168 titles (there hadn't even been a title unification period at 168 since 2013). And he challenged 2 of the 3 Russian champs at the time while the three have still never fought once. Called Canelo's bluff? Bivol rejected the purse of his career by refusing to fight at 175 when it's the only division he's ever fought in lol. And his team also dismissed the Beterbiev fight a couple of months ago over money. Bivol has held the 175 title for over 5 years yet has taken no steps to unify and just rejected huge money to defend it just to sit inactive throughout 2023.

Canelo is the only fighter in history to unify titles in the three divisions from 154, 160 and 168 along with the only ex welterweight besides Thomas Hearns to be champ at 175. He was set to challenge for a 175 title for the third time but Bivol declined. On the other hand you have Bivol who's been inactive throughout 2023 rejecting big fights. He's the same age as Canelo yet has made no effort to unify his only division and recently rejected Beterbiev over money then turned around and rejected big money against Canelo because Bivol refuses to fight in the only division he's competed in-- and yet his team was running around claiming non champ middleweight Munguia was the "only fight that made sense". If Bivol won't put in work in his only division, never in a million years would he move up and fight multiple champs in multiple divisions like Canelo.

When interviewing someone that doesn’t speak English very well, keep the questions very simple and ask one question at a time. Don’t overwhelm your interviewer with too many words and slow things down a bit.

I've been saying that Marcos rushes with question after question, overwhelming the interviewer. This first question should have been about Bivol and what's going on in his career, not gossip, mental health issues, or what he said she said BS. If that's what Marcos likes to talk about, then leave it at the end. He has a weird way of conducting interviews.

So frustrating listening to a professional Interviewer speaking to a foreign fighter as if he is fluent in English and not adjusting and simplifying his dialect. Talk slower and use more basic terms for God's sake. You also failed to clearly ask him what the state of negotiations are with canelo. Fail.
