Which players do you think will leave Liverpool this summer?

I'd really like to see a video that breaks down why it's good business for us to keep Salah and get nothing for him next summer. he has been way off his best since returning from AFCON . I can obviously see why it's great for him to stay and see out next season at 350,000+ per week and then get a huge sign on bonus from Saudi . If his form into next season is the same or declines even further and we are carrying Nunez for another season then the season might well be done in the first 3 months. If 100 million from selling Salah is reinvested in a top player under a 5 year contract surely that is much better business for Liverpool ?

Whether Salah stays or go we still need another Winger/striker plus a CB & DM. I think Slot will want to work with the whole squad then get rid of players in Jan/next summer. However, I hope Liverpool learn from last 2 seasons: injuries happen and keeping players too long. Need to Build the squad to compete in all 4 competitions.

I'm not sure Nunez will make it but he's the most dangerous attacker after Salah. Diaz should be replaced. It would also be very silly to let Salah go for free if it's possible to get an insane fee this Summer. Either get him signed or sell and replace him this Summer. That fee would allow two very good replacements.

Only big player I could see going is Diaz if we got an offer of £60m+ I’d sell him and go reinvest that money into a more prolific versatile forward.

Salah staying next season would be a mistake. His form has dropped off a cliff. I don’t see him leaving given his wages, then he leaves on a free transfer. That would be a terrible outcome to not get any money for him.

We’ve not gotten the best out of Nunez yet. With a new coach coming in, I would like to see him get one more season. He needs to be put in a position to allow him score more goals.

I think, in order of highest-to-lowest probability, the players to leave will be Kelleher, Gomez, Tsimikas & Diaz (Van De Berg as well but I think we are talking players on the roster this past season). I think Diaz is open to leaving and actually think Liverpool would be ok with his departure at a reasonably good price >60mm; whereas there is NO intention to entertain selling Nunez. We shall see, the incomings I am hoping for include Locko, Inacio, Zubimendi & Bakayoko.

I was really hopeful that we’d sell Salah. Mo will be that bit slower again this season, a bit less confident and defenders will fear him even less. You factor this in with the fact that he will not take well to being subbed by Arne and I think he’d could cause a stink in the squad.

One box that we are poor at is the player injury record. Some players are injury prone.

We need to think LT for LFC anyway, so I’m hoping LFC just go out and buy his replacement/right winger. Mo is a legend, but he’s playing funny buggers again, so I think we’re going to see a huge drop off from him next season (he’s slowing down)..touch looks so off. With this forecasted foresight in mind: LFC should buy a couple of forward options. Diaz and Nunez aren’t quite at the level. Gapko - jury still out. All other teams catching up: if we stay put, we’ll get left behind. Arguably we are 3rd/4th best team…we SHOULD be the 2nd pushing 1st best team….(need to aim high)…. That defence and no 6 are key.

Sell the front line for $200 million and get a LB, RB, DM, and a striker. Build a defensive fortress first, then get some clinical forwards.

I would definitely put a buy back clause in Kellerhers transfer if it happens. It would be good to see him return and replace Allison when the time comes..

I would like to hear more from our captain and vice captain. They haven’t come out and committed to the club by saying they want to stay yet.. if they are unsure, take the responsibility away from them, they don’t deserve it if they are not 100% committed to the club. The club also need to make them a good offer yes.. but they’re already on great money and by saying nothing they are disrespecting the fan base in my opinion.

Liverpool are a spreadsheet and data based club and anything approaching £100m for Salah means he will be sold , Nunez if he wants to stay will stay unless a bid approaching what we paid for him , Trent will sign a new contract as he knows he will be captain in a couple of years expect Virgil to sign a two year extension, £70m for Diaz would again expect the spreadsheet men to deem a good deal.

We should not be in hurry to sell. Allow the new coach have a feel of all the players. Injury will come and we can't afford to fall short of what Jurgen left behind.

I think Diaz loves the club. He works his socks off every game. Sadly when it comes to goalscoring and assists it is clear that it's not really about "working harder", it's more about keeping your cool and staying focused. He's quite a nervous player and I doubt that he's able to increase that scoring ratio next season. He didn't score more than this in Porto either and was still considered their best player. In spite of all this he got more starts than any other attacker, and it wasn't all about other players being injured. Or klopp "being nice". If Klopp had wanted to he would've benched him. But Klopp knew that you can't really measure everything in goals and assists. And the critics agreed, more than once he got the highest rating of everybody in the team, in spite of his goalscoring impotence.. Many games he's been their most creative plalyer even if he can't finish it off. Anyway I think he can feel the harsch criticism and is probably worried that Slot will not give him the same understanding and confidence that Klopp gave him. So if he leaves that would probably be the main reason.

Salah may feel like going to a European club after his contract runs down. If he maintains his fitness as he has at Liverpool, he could go play in a slower league. Not having a transfer fee will give him the freedom to choose his club. I could see him in Italy again, or maybe in France for something new. The Saudi league seems like it would be a real snooze for a player who has been competing at the top echelon of Premier League competition. Mo isn't ready to settle down that much, yet. Maybe in three or four years. But I wish him well. He's given us a lot. If he stays for another year at Liverpool, great. This past season, he gave us 18 goals and 10 assists in 32 appearances. I don't know where else we would find anything close to that.

Salah -regardless of his dip in form during the later half of the season- is still Liverpool's best player and why they are still third after the TONS of misses from the rest of the attackers. If Diaz and Nunez managed to score from Salah's assists alone, then he'd have the top assists in Europe not just EPL! And even with his recent misses, he's still the team's top scorer. Liverpool bought him for just 40M and after 7 good years I'd say they already got more than their money's worth from him. If he chooses to stay then let him stay, and if he chooses to leave then he leaves on his terms. I'd say he more than earned the right to do so. Speaking about the club and fans loyalty, if we want to demand it from the players then you have to be ready to give it back to those who deserves it. Otherwise Liverpool would be just another club no different from the others.

Priorities are: 1.:CB to play next to VVD. Matip is leaving, Konate is injury prone, and Quality is too young and makes too many silly errors. 2. Defensive midfielder - Endo is too old and lightweight, MacA is not a DM. 3. Top striker who doesn’t need 3-4 chances to score a goal. 4. Replace any player that is sold.

Salah leaving on free would be a disastah. Either stay and renew or go now. We are talking about around £100m, I doubt Edwards would be fine with that.

Which means he will stay, unfortunately. -Tsimikas is so average he should be put up for sale. -I like Konate but he is very injury prone so he should be sold if a decent offer comes in. -Personally, I don't really rate Curtis Jones far too inconsistent for me , plus he is a homegrown player so selling him would be pure profit to invest in a better player.. -Carvalho needs to be sold just not good enough at this level

I'm sorry but everything you said about Nunez was prefaced with 'IF' , you can't slow his brain down or put a bit of lead in his boots to stop him running offside. Gakpo has improved markedly over the last month through the middle which only serves to reinforce Darwins inability to adapt after 2 years.

Liverpool need to learn lessons about losing players for free .we are always the big club with limited finances which is ridiculous considering we bring in more revenue than arsenal yet they can spend big. We are talking about players, but Liverpool management was a disaster in the last two years. They missed every super class player: Holand, Kane, Mbape, Rice, the guy who went to Real Madrid, and others and got third class players.

Whether Salah is allowed to stay will tell me everything about whether I should have any optimism about the new era. Stays? Same old shit. Players past their best being allowed to run their contract down whilst they don’t perform as they once did before leaving for free. Sell him? Finally some god damn ruthlessness that is needed to actually build us back up to being a great side again. How many in their prime elite players do we have in this squad now? Two? Maybe three? And one of those is the keeper. Alexis and MAYBE Trent are the only others. Van Dijk is still top class but he’s about to turn 34 and isn’t what he used to he so he isn’t in the ‘prime’ category anymore.

It is pointless to think about player‘s fate before Slot gives indications of how he wants to play. For instance a guy like Nunez is a disaster in a ball possession system because his strength - speed - is rather useless. Nunez needs a team like Tottenham or Atletico who play lower because there you got open space where a player like Nunez can shine.

Diaz needs to go. Am done with the whole Barcelona saga and people really overrating him. Apparently 'being busy' and carrying the ball with energy means he is a good winger.

The big one I think is Kostas Tsimikas. Would have had 12 months on his contract, had he not have renewed. He was rewarded for good performances but hasn’t kicked on since. As he has a few years left, potential to get a decent free, Brentford rumoured to be interested as they can’t afford to buy reguilon permanently as he’s on high wages. With Robertson, Joe Gomez, potentially a left footed CB who can play LB and Owen Beck coming through who could have a breakthrough season like Conor Bradley, no place for Tsimikas, who couldn’t even get in Klopp’s squads towards the end of the season. I would cash in as out an out LBs aren’t as much a demand now.

If Salah 's staying next season then he HAS to sign a new contract plain and simple, the club can't afford to lose a player of his value for nothing!
