DMT KR1 Cycling Shoes (Sizing & Thoughts)

Күн бұрынWell, I may have just found the shoes I have been looking for! Lightweight, stiff carbon sole, and a unique 'sock-like' comfortable fit. These shoes are around $300usd which really isn't that bad if you consider this is about as good as it gets. My major issue when looking for shoes was to find something that doesn't fit too wide... these shoes fit perfect at the size 44... A little room, but not much. I take about a 10.5 US sized Nike running shoe. If you like a bit more room in the toe area you may opt for the 44.5/45.

I see you bought the KR1 shoes in the end. How have they been? I’m looking at the KR3. How’s the fit? Would you recommend going down half a size? I’m unable to go to a store to try them on hence the question.

I bought the 44.5 which is the same length wise fit as a 44.5 shimano rc7. Lots of places have shimano's you can go try those on for the length fit

@@scottrider7271 I am very familiar with shimano. I own 2 different pairs and I’m a 43. So you reckon 43 in dmt also? I’ve seen reviews that the KR3s run big that’s why I’m asking.

Come to think of it maybe like a half size bigger feeling in the dmts because I remember trying them on and going ...oh this is a smaller size than I normally take. the dmts do change the actual size for every half size. I noticed that some shoe makers just change every full size for the actual sole.. I don't want to tell you what to do it's a tough call

Do you think the back heel will slip now? Or is it loose?

They fit like the first day I bought them actually.. I didn't find any issue. It's only one dial but it stays nice and snug. The Dial sort of tightens up around the whole foot so yeah...Definitely recommend trying them though for you buy them they're not cheap.

Tough call... The lakes might be more durable if you're rough on your shoes.. but I I'm not too rough on my shoes and the kr1 are a bit more comfortable... That's the thing about shoes you got to try them on

Yeah they've been super comfortable since day one again shoes are a personal thing everybody's foot's different. Think they're a bit expensive but then again I'll probably have them for five six maybe seven years

Yeah I believe I recall the size was smaller than I expected. I'll double check the box later today I'm out of the city...

I bought size 44 and they fit nice and snug not not too big... Toe doesn't curl or anything but it's pretty close to the end but that's how I like it I usually take about a 10.5 US size Adidas running shoe and Nike shoe if that helps
