A very short day trip to Kuala Lipis just to joyride the DMU on the East Coast Main Line. The whole journey takes less than 24 hours by taking at total of 3 services ETS, ERT, and DMU by KTM.
Although today's onward trip was delayed, the return trip happened to arrived before time. I was able to witness DMU startup for the first time, just like any other locomotive with diesel engine, they need to be start and warm up before put into service. But DMU warm up time is significantly shorter than conventional diesel locomotive.
