I’m from Ohio as well. I been practicing driving for a couple of years, trying to do my best like everyone that wants to drive, get over my nerves/overthinking and handle test anxiety. I set up a test for very soon so I really want to have my license so I can be ready for new accomplishments after that. I know I can do it! Wish me luck everyone!! 4/16 I passed my test!

I like the guy who gave you your test. The guy who did my was very dule in the tone of his voice and how he explained stuff. That guy explained the maneuverability test in your favor.

Well, my test is tomorrow and I feel pretty good about the manueverability and driving. Hope I pass because my permit expires soon. Update: I passed on my first try with 26/26 maneuverability and 15/26 driving, test was a lot easier than I thought 🏆

In Michigan you have to parallel parking, back parking, and have to merge into freeway, drive in freeway, and exit freeway at 70 miles like an expert. You have to drive on all kinds of road in 30 minutes in the road test. That is so stupid when asking new drivers to drive on freeway and put them in a situation that have a lot of dangerous. I have got 6 permits and practiced driving 3 years, I can drive very good in city but I still failed the road test on freeway.

Each do-over is minus 10 points max two do-overs. Probably just one because you will lose points for little things.

@Ne Phill When coming back through the course if you mess-up, you know you are going to hit a cone, stop. If the cone does not fall down you are still in the game. Don't ask permission '"can I try again" because the examiner can't answer. Put the car in drive and go forward to the starting point (next to the point cone). Put the car in reverse and you have one do-over. The do-over costs 10 points but that is ok you have to pass with a 75. Warning: you can't pull up a bit then go back. You must go all the way to your starting point straight with the back bumper even with the point cone. In other words you can't fix a little and then go back. Go all the way up to the point cone and begin again. Hope this makes sense.

I'm sorry the driving test here is a joke. It's very easy to pass, and that's why there are a bunch of people here who can't drive. In nyc you take a road test. You have to park make a u turn and parallel park. It's much harder than this test.

@NePhill75 is not a joke when you have people that should not be driving, causing accidents and killing people on motorcycle because the driving test doesn't give more hand on driving like real world like other states. This is why ohio has the highest accidents and death bye vehicle in the United States.

Examiners are not supposed to talk the driver except to give directions once (step-by-step), The student is taking a test, you can't help them, you can't say etc...When the student stopped at the stop bar could not see well up and down the street he should have moved over, slight bend to the right on that right turn, move up and make a second stop near the end of the road (where car came out and he almost got hit). That other car ran that stop sign so not the drivers fault but he did not see that coming. His fault for not paying attention and braking.

you need to go to some driving school and talk to them if they can drive you up to bmv for your driving exam and use their car to take the test

@@NePhill75 While it is the other drivers fault for not yielding the right of way, it’s his fault for not watching and breaking. Being a driver you can’t assume other cars will yield the right of way even if their legally obligated. He should’ve been watching more carefully

The person making the left hand turn there was at fault. The driver taking the test was making a right turn and was closest to the lane he was turning in to, as he didnt have to cross another lane of traffic. Left turns always yield, unless they have a left turn arrow at an intersection.

I am taking my test soon , I wanted to know what is the speed limit when you leave the driving test center to go to the main road because I did not see it . mostly in the neighborhood 25mph just follow the speed limit signs, you can see the speed limit when he leaved at the bottom in the video, both test are taken sameday its only takes 10-20mins long, if you failed any of them, they will schedule you to retake.

go to the BMV web site, select schedule the driving test, select butler county then select butler tech, find their open slot and schedule your test. you don't have to do their training course, you can just take a driving exam

Okay so in ohio while performing maneuver ability, we arent allowed to use are brakes? Like say Im backing up, I cant keep my foot on the brake to keep a comfortable speed right? Because Ive noticed I tend to keep my foot on the break just slightly to maintain the same speed. Im so nervous for maneuver ability.

if you have unexpired drivers license from Florida you just need to change into Ohio drivers license with all your valid documents no need to take the driving test that's what I know

if you didn't hit the cones you passed in maneuverability 26points is failed, the scoring are separate so you need only to retake the road test thanks

The minute he pressed the gas pedal he should have failed the driving test. You cannot drive horizontally or vertically through a parking lot. (95.00 ticket for reckless driving) If you are driving and you are not in a driving lane, you have a problem.

@@NePhill75 The minute the driving instructor gets in the car the test is on. If you drive through lanes to get to the cones; is the examiner supposed to ignore you just drove into oncomming traffic? Driving horizontally across lanes is a 95.00 ticket for reckless driving and an instant fail on the driving test.

In manueverbility how many attempts they give if you hit a cone?

if you hit the cone its automatic failed but if you stop before hitting the cones it's 2points you have a chance until 12 stopping without hitting the cones and you still pass. but if you hit the cone and failed they will schedule you to re-take the test
