Its nuts cuz swizz grinded for years with ruff Ryder before dmx did even one of his beats . X brother told a story once about when swizz was real young asking x to listen to his new beat in the car so he put it in the CD player and 10 seconds later hit eject and threw it out the window. They said swizz was heartbroken but x told him you have greatness in you and this ain't it. Later swizz ended up making xs first hit the ruff Ryder's anthem. Pretty dope

All of DMX's songs are hits. I honestly like the "Lord Give Me A Sign" the best out of all of them but this jam is cool too. I grew up in the 90's too. I listened to Tupac after a friend from the basketball team introduced me to his music...then I was saddened by his passing. By the time I was in the high school grades I had learned about Earl Simmons. I started listening to his music in 1998...continued to listen all the way thru college and after. I enjoyed The LP's Great Depression and Grand Champ. I listened to Year of the dog (again) and then purchased his 2007 greatest hits cd when I was living in SoFla and attending grad school. Loved his movies too! Hope he pulls through.

It wasnt like how life is today. Toobad I took it for granted. But I ll always cherish the 90s in my heart my entire life. Best years of my life. Not just for me but for a lot of people who grew up in the 90s. If one ofm y 90s hero dies its like a part of my choldhood dies. ANd the realization im getting older.

We are from Germany, my son always love DMX. He was 12 years when he was in Concert the first time. When he dead we are crying and shocked. We love him and never forget his voice. He is a legend. R.I.P.

Yep.. This is what made Swizz such an asset to X.. I think most of true X fans appreciate him on P.Killer and Dame Grease production more, but he needed the radio friendly records, didn’t have to change shit lyrically, just needed the ear of certain producers for certain records

That gritty sound will NEVER be replicated. X was always one of a kind...I am so thankful to have witnessed the GOAT at work. His passing hurts...we lost a real one. RIP DMX, love and prayers to his family.
