My husband and I were there that night. The crowd went WILD for DMX. Boston loves DMX. Someone gave us their box seats so we didn’t see anything but heard everyone cheer as we did once we figured out DMX was there as the music played. RIP DMX 🕊️ . Such a talented artist .

He was abused then abandoned by his mother as a child and then the first male role model in his life literally tricked him in to smoking crack when he was only 14 years old! He was dealt a bad hand from being a child so don't try do him dirty by saying he didn't respect his life when it was the adult role models who was around him that didn't respect his life! X was living in hell with his demons from a young age and he still managed to make it out of the dark and do something with his life that we could only dream of! That's what you call a real underdog story. He will always be a legend.

I have never been affected by celebrities deaths because obviously I never met them in person but this one hit hard man. DMX is the reason I started listening to hip hop from just being in my little thrash metal bubble. So many great memories of my life include his music and hands down one of the best concerts I have ever been to and I have been to many of the greatest bands out there. I always hoped for him to make a comeback, gone too soon #RIPX
