I always used to spare players but I got sick of them just shooting me in the back after so now I down them then revive then if they ask for help, then they can't kill me.

Feel like DMZ is only fun with friends

As a 53yo gamer it is a great mode

BRs in general are fun as well but not WZ though.

Id rather play DMZ than BR any day, I like the ability to control the pace of the game to an extent rather than be almost forced into direct conflict. I haven't done much with keys and wanted to work on my first mission that required I use one so last night I hopped in solo with a key to the Thief's Cache underwater, ended up spawning on the opposite side of the map and had to make my way there about halfway on foot till I found a jeep, made it to the right spot and had to search a bit but managed to find it and unlock it.. apparently the mission is real specific about it being a locked SPACE and not a locked CONTAINER.. w/e, heard some shots across the water at the closest spawn and decided to just exfil. On my way there noticed a squad in an armored truck and marked them.. they were the exact distance to the exfil watching it, said screw it and still headed for it, a cargo drop falls about 200m away from the exfil and they go for it so I call it in, fight off the NPCs and in the last 10 seconds before takeoff they drive the armored truck straight through the helicopter lifting me on top of their truck and pulling me along with it, I panic drop a semtex straight down into the truck and leg it for the chopper as I'm getting shot in the back, as the timer runs out and its lifting off I jump with just enough time to mantle onto the back ramp and get in. I'm 1/3 health and no plates so I just panic pop stims as some last shots hit me while I lay on the floor of the chopper. Not a big payout for that run as I only went in to do one thing for a mission but it was fun at least.

Casual if you want it to be 😂. We now use WZ games to warm up for DMZ 😂😂😂 and it used to be the opposite. The stakes in Warzone are low as there's no real risk. DMZ with being able to keep gear, as well as mission progress has raised the stakes for us and we stay out there SWEATING.

Your best bet is to find some friends to play dmz with. Random players never works out. They all want to do their own thing or they go to most heavily fortified areas on the map. Randoms are also bad at not assessing what's going on like what teammates have as far as plates, vests, backpacks, and weapons. If you can find some friends that knows how you play and you know how they n play, it will be better for you. You can tell these guys have played with each other for years, maybe decades on serval different games. Their communication skills are A+

@@Ares78987 MY EXPERIENCE , I did more missions with joining a team than starting up with one, most of the random just don't give 2single Fs about you, they just want a team so they can get revived bro, but I don't know maybe I'll give it a goo next time

You're right about taking up with randos. I also have had more luck teaming up after deployment. Randos will get downed and leave with another team or have no mic and run off to do their own thing and then get downed half way across the map. Screw them. Real teams are made knee-deep in the shit. Hit up the roof of the Mall. Players always want some help raiding that area, if they don't, there's easy escapes in multiple directions.

Yep, because they decided to recycle MP maps and only give players ONE objective rather than enriching the environment with multiple missions, challenges and optional tasks. Also, no looting 💀

Hey there! So I understand your comment but I don't really agree with your statements about my teammates and other players being too aggressive and using proxi chat to trick people. PvP is part of DMZ, otherwise there wouldn't be other real players in lobbies and there'd be no need to have custom guns to shoot people. Being aggressive and taking out other players removes a threat, and since the mode is all about survival and extractions, the best thing to do is push the odds as far as you can in your favour. Get rid of more players, potentially easier to extract. As for the proxi chat, having push to talk functions on PC is an advantage but that's not the fault of PC players - it's the fault of consoles not putting enough buttons onto their controllers. I understand the points you're making but DMZ is a mode that supports PvP and makes use of proxi chat... and that won't change 😕

@@Westie thank you very much for taking the time to respond. I can say from experience playing DMZ from day 1 as my primary game mode that the element of assimilate and prox chat was meant to encourage friendly gameplay and not the latter of identifying where players are to kill them. We will put blame where due that the Devs invoked the PVP missions which turned the mode exponentially more toxic over the last 2 weeks more so than the first 2.5 months of the game mode availability. Anyone that denies that PVP turned toxic is a toxic player themselves. Just today my duo had a player in our load screen while waiting to join game that was able to talk to us and he instantly called me the N word and told me to F myself and F off without me saying a word on chat at all. Sure push to talk is not the fault of PC players, but as a steward of the gaming community you should stand up for your viewers and point out such discrepancies and unfair advantages to the developers so they can address those concerns rather than continuing to take advantage of casual players trying to have fun playing a video game with their 10yr old son or 60yr old dad. You should have more honor than playing with StoneMountain using the exploits of duplicating the UAVs and other bugs in the game to gain more advantage over other players. You guys are professional level players and full time streamers that need NO advantage over others because you have 10000% more skill than the casual dad who plays an hour or 2 a week because he goes to a blue collar job to provide for his family and wants to have fun playing a darn video game. Hold yourself to the standard you want to see players play to, play with integrity and character, and you’ll have 10 fold for support.

@@elkwhisperer37 I to have been playing since day one , it has gone bad recently. I think the war zone players have started to move over bringing their kill everyone play style with them. It’s great when you can just casually go about doing missions, friendly encounters with other players . I’m afraid those days are gone. I had one guy sing he was friendly the other day , then he wiped me and my partner . It’s getting pretty toxic
