People that don't know any better these days will say "We are going to war with NK!", when we have been at war with them for 60+ years. The entire site you are looking at would be a crater during the first 10 minutes @ the end of the cease fire.

One thing you should know is defecting is only in the CHINESE BORDER where if you get caught they send you back and through the DMZ where it's full of LAND MINES and ELECTRICAL WIRES etc.. Some defectors that have defected and talked about how they're worried about their families back in N.Korea.

If you were a civilian, no shorts, no jeans, no sandals. Essentially, you had to be in at least business casual. They have relaxed that since then, however. It was mostly to prevent giving NK propaganda opportunities.
