If you think of it in terms of value for purchase, the m5 is over a million and the same with the e63s. The rs6 is under a million so you might as well get the rs6 and tune it with the remaining money that sums up to the m5 or e63s and you have a car faster than the latter 2 for almost the same price(probably still cheaper post mods)

Why say that? If people like or prefer whatever cars, they will buy it regardless of how much it costs and how fast it can go because they can afford expensive things.

If you're in the market for a raw german engineered car with supercar-like power and performance and you're not particular about the brand then this would be how u decide which car to buy. If you have a particular preference then of course you'd be one sided to the badge u like.

Monetary Value vs Speed (Not even talking about other performances) is so so overrated. I literally roll my eyes if theres still someone trying to tell me that their cheap-ass cars can beat a supercar. But I do agree with you, if speed is a priority, we have access to so many decent cars in our generation that is highly tune-able and doesn’t break the bank (like it used to back in the old days, fast cars in the past = expensive, not anymore in our age), but different class/category have different purpose, speed is just one of the many factor in how a car is priced/valued👍🏻

Duke highway is really hard to speed, too much corners and the road are very bumpy too. So I understand why the mclaren isn’t trying too hard

While the RS6 is a competent car, to say that it can keep up with a modern supercar on the public road, is no different to a competent hot hatch being able to do the same when driven by a competent driver. The limitations of the public road and variation of driver ability, play a larger role in how much performance of a car can be used.
