That doesn't work anymore. Even tho I agree with you, it doesn't please the younger crowd, maybe some of the Bad Company tracks, but you can hear only remixes of them in a newstyle-ish shape. And mostly played only by the DJs that actually were fans of them...I mean there are very few ones that actually lived and went to those aritsts' shows and now play their tracks (remixed or originals). At least you don't forget about those tracks, but in my honest opinion some are just bad remixes done to make some buzz around an upcoming artist, cuz it's 'cool' to remix an old school banger...that drops you in the spotlight.

back in the day it was Mampi Swift who was known as the double drop guy. I think if you double drop everything it gets very silly and gimmicky. every now and then it's very cool but all the time means the music gets cluttered and individual tracks can't really speak for themselves. If one of my fav producers, say Dom, plays a dub, then that's exciting and a perk of seeing a live set but if he double drops it with another tune if I don't know that tune then I can't even tell what the dub is like!
