The best USA basketball team ever...ridiculous. They don't have time to use all their potential during the single game. From the quarter-finals to the end, they will tighten up the defense and that's about it.

Adam was definitely on point with the tall guy culture, when I see guy taller than me I usually spent at least 5 minutes complaining to the person next to me. :D tall guys know what I'm talking about...

Exhibition or not, team USA doesn't have a B team. Whichever combination pf players is on the court would be a championship contender. There's no other team with that depth and team USA will eventually grind down anybody. I'd really love to see the team USA vs team NBA though, becaue team NBA is even stronger. I'd also love to see team NBA vs team Europe, which would also be a banger.

Micić's problem is the same as Murray's problem, they think they are better players than they really are. That's why instead of playing easy and letting the flow of the game come to them, they try very complicated plays and force situations. The foul that Micić receives from Booker in penetration to his right after the pick and roll with Jokić was a very complicated shot, and Nikola was alone to receive the ball, but Micić still tried the epic shot. He was lucky to get the foul. It's the same problem that Serbia faced in the last Eurobasket when losing against Italy. Micić played more minutes and took more shots than Jokić. Unbelievable.

Bogdanović has a very long tongue... He already mouthslip they have a plan to tank USA in group. I guess Pešić thinks same as Adam, that there is only one bullit and that bullit should be fired in eventual finals :)))) P. S. That said, Pešić played both with Australia and USA players that he still didn't decide will he bring them or not, he literary tried them to see will they go along Jokić. That is why Bogdanović set down two games, because you can bring on list only 12 players, and Pešić brought 14, but still could play only 12. So I would not give a lot of significance to this game, because it was trainging game for Pešić, and he is the type of guy that really don't care at all how it would look like to public. But to beat USA, Micić will have to be much faster, he is totally out of shape, totally rusted in that NBA... And I am afraid he will not make a lot of didferance for 20 days...

@@Dre_aka_sleepysandman the season wasn't terrible by any means, I actually value RGS, it means something when you are winning, but Murray certainly wasn't the reason why they won those 57 games...

It all comes back to the idiotic Booth "I believe in our young guys" scheme. But, Swipa Cam is absolutely right! The Nuggets should have offered Zeke's money to Nickeil Alexander-Walker last year and now they wouldn't have been sweating losing KCP or crossing your fingers and trusting Russell Westbrook to not explode their locker-room. Why on earth did Booth give Zeke Naji that insane $8m 4 year contract? It was ridiculous at the time and now is a huge albatross. And why if he was giving up 3 2nd round picks to move off Reggie Jackson's contract, didn't they use those picks to get off of Zeke's bigger contract instead?! If they still had Reggie they wouldn't be sweating whether some team would give a 2nd round pick or something to take Russell Westbrooks' contract. I can't believe a team would be stupid enough to trade for Russell Westbrook if he didn't want to be there. Even if he DOES want to be there, it's wildly risky. But, considering what happened in Philly and LA would you risk an unhappy Westbrook in your locker-room? So, I imagine he winds up here. But, even if it works out, they still need a 3rd veteran point guard and we wouldn't be talking about how useless Jalen Pickett is or whether some undrafted 2-way player in Trey Alexander might somehow be the 3rd point guard in his rookie year. Wild long shots are NOT what you're supposed to be counting on for a Championship Team! The Celtics aren't saying "Gee! We sure hope our 2-way PG J.D Davison works out or we're royally screwed!"

Pešić is saving that "one bullet" from his revolver for (hopefully) the final game. He is way too experienced and has played the US teams before, so he knows not to shoot it in an exhibition game in Abu Dhabi.

20 Bogdanovic, plus Milutinov, Jovic, Davidovac in the 2nd unit would cut at least 15 lead from the US 2nd unit. That's 35 and Serbia would win.

Typical Murray stuff...you remember great performance, play off riser, in fact he had 24 points shooting under 50%...he went for 50 2 times????...he still averaged only 26 points

Question for anyone out there about the draft and summer league, did the Nuggets fail in this year’s draft? Isn’t basically the Achilles a career ender? Boy Dayton University must have not don’t enough strength and explosive training for Holmes’ legs for that type of injury to occur. Tough break, but more could have been done to help it.
@ohhmyjesusАй бұрын
Achilles is def an uphill battle, but ppl can come back from it. Holmes getting this early in his career should help. If this was him at age 30 then it’s kinda rough
@themcadamsminute8494Ай бұрын
@@ohhmyjesus thank you for the response. It’s crazy to me for such an explosive player, how this happens. Clearly there were some training elements missed throughout his college days. You never really see this with rookies at summer league, which makes me wonder if there were underlying issues. And when/if he returns, will he be the elite level the nuggets want him to be?
